I don't remember being asked about invading Iraq. I remember Afghanistan being invaded and one day we were hitting Iraq with missiles and bombs. Shifting the war from one country to another. From one objective to another. Forgetting the first country and objective.

Second: You ARE bating flame. Hence your flamebait moderations, which in my opinion, were correctly applies.
Third: This is not the place for a debate on why you're a dick bag and why the guy who made the joke you're getting all pissed off about is an asshole.
Fourth: Just because you have family in the armed forced doesn't mean we automatically give half a shit about your opinion.
Oh, and it's just a small hard drive. You can hook it up to anything with the right adapter.
I was responding to the claim that I couldn't upgrade my hard drive based iPod while a flash drive iPod could be upgraded, too. So your point is kinda.. well, it smells Troll-y.
Can you upgrade your nano easily? About as easily as I can upgrade the hard drive in my 80 gig iPod. Open it up and replace the drive. But a new 100 gig hard drive or whatever will be under $200, while I'm sure a 100 gig flash drive will cost slightly more.
My library's about 6000 songs plus the complete run of Space Ghost, Sealab, ATHF, Brak, MST3k, and a few other fun shows. Plus the movies. NetFlix + handbrake =:)
The music and a few movies fills my iPod easily, so I have to pick and choose what I bring with me. And I almost ALWAYS wish I had brought something that I didn't.
I guess my point is that with a 2gig flash card, you can bring 200 songs or whatever, but what if you want to listen to that 201st song?
Why limit yourself when the tech exists that says you don't have to?
I live in New England and would kill for some QUALITY grits up here.
Also, Google Earth isn't updated daily, the images of my house show the car in the driveway of the people who lived here before the people who lived here lived here.
Actually, Time Warner offers around 18 Mbit down and 1 Mbit up for $50/mo in my area. We were called "The Next Silicon Valley" at one point in the late 90s, so they built it.. and nobody came. Western MA isn't all bad, though.

If Lucas was doing it to get money out of the fans, that'd be one thing.. and it would be understandable. What really kills me is that he's doing it because he feels it makes the movies better.
Is there ANYONE who agrees with him who isn't directly paid? Who likes Han shooting second?
"If it is, think back to you're 20's and remember how dumb you were.."
And still are, it seems.
Serenity isn't only good because of fancy special effects. It's a good movie because it's a good movie. Well written and well acted, in my opinion.
I'm only 21, and didn't "grow up" with Star Wars, but when I was 13 I rented all 3 and watched them in one sitting. I was hooked.
The new ones.. are eh. 1 and 2 were pretty awful when compared to their older brothers, 3 wasn't totally bad.. and they all had their moments.
The updated 4, 5 and 6 did hurt to see, but I did pay to see them.
I believe Lucas lost his mind a while back, and he's so rich nobody's called him on it to his face.
Unless, of course, you live nowhere near a city or dense population area. I have to travel at least 50 miles in any direction to find EVDO, and we won't be seeing FIOS for about 15 years, I'm going to guess that WIMAX won't be hitting my town of 4600 people any time soon.
Can I get a 5 pound bag of taffy from B&N for $15? Because I can get that from Amazon. How about miniSD cards? Skis? Survival gear? Knives? Axes? Rope?
I like to take non-smoking breaks with my smoking co-workers. It gets me out of the building, and it's only fair that I get to take the same 3-5 minute breaks.
As long as you don't buy anything from the iTMS, there's no DRM involved. Rip your own DVDs using handbrake, or download tv shows/movies from teh intarwebs for free.
The only DRM is in the iTMS stuff, and you don't need to buy it to use the AppleTV.
Yeah, because ambulance drivers are the real problem with this country, right Comrade?
I actually work at a hospital and have lost count of all the times the ambulance drivers have tortured me for just shits and giggles.

Is my iPod any less functional than yours?

I'll take it!
So, $50-$75 for 4 gigs is $500 - $750 for 40 gigs and $1500 for the 80 gigs my iPod has. Hmm..
Microsoft Execs will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes.
Only 8, I have 10.

At this point, Revolution is the easiest way to get the US of A back on track. It sucks, but it's true.

But what about all the good things Hitler did?
Please, don't feed the Trolls.

Amazon is more than an online bookstore.

Sir, your tin foil hat seems to be a little sideways.
