    He's suing because Apple is trying to gain monopolies in digital music and digital music players so they can force anyone who wants either one to also use their other product. If history has taught us anything, we shouldn't wait until they've started to abuse a monopoly before we try to fix it.

    You can disable access to the MS programs and leave them on the hard drive and pretend they were never there just like any other Windows bloat you probably never use. Bundling is bundling is bundling. Neither Apple nor MS force anyone to use their products, but since those products are already there, users will tend to use them over any other product. The end result (and the intended result I might add) is the same for both.

    No, it's a "new" (sorta) architecture apparently based on the Pentium III's architecture. It lacks some of the more advanced features of the P4 and even Celeron lines but it's lower power and will actually beat a Pentium 4 clock for clock in some applications.

    The idea is that this is faster than a single 6800 and supposedly cheaper. That alone makes it an attractive alternative to the 6800. It depends on how much cheaper though.

    Personally, I'm going to be failing a course because I didn't take a lab practical test that I didn't know about, wasn't on any syllabus or schedule and my lab instructor nor lecturer ever mentioned because I didn't have my head of up their asses. Of course, the university only cares if its the lecturer failing everyone. The lab instructors are grad students that don't give a shit what happens to any of the lowly peon non-grads.

    It most certainly could be since it uses an updated NT/2000/XP kernel. Obviously not the whole thing, but a stripped down version like they did with win2k and xbox.
