BTW she was wearing a pasty and thus could probably have been shown without incident on any tv show. The fact that she WAS wearing a pasty makes it obvious that it wasnt an "accident" but that's another topic altogether.
that's not a fool proof solution though. There are counterfeiters who chemically erase the print on a one dollar bill and then print their version of the 20 dollar bill onto it. Its a 19 dollar profit and those pens will "verify" that its a real bill. you should really be looking at things like the security strip, its placement location is different on each denomination it also glows a different color under UV for each, however most places don't invest in a black light. The watermark is also a good thing to check, if you're holding up a 20 and it doesn't have one or it doesn't look like andrew jackson... and the color shifting ink is also a very quick and easy tell of whether or not a bill is fake. I've worked as a bank teller and a bartender in my life and most bars can spare (and do) the room for a small desklamp by the register. Both to check ID's and bills.
well considering the word you quoted is intentional not international then I'd say this(specific part) has nothing to do with international aspects of it, this has to do with doing it when you know what you're doing is wrong and you do it anyway.
The reason they named it fedora was because the logo shows a guy wearing one. The hat in question has always been a fedora, its not as if they suddenly needed to come up with a cute name for a hat. That said, who knows what the legal issues will be. Cornell Fedora vs Red Hat Fedora can both show prior usage, Cornell of the name, and Red Hat of the logo. We'll have to see what happens.

but in using your example its not the fact that he was selling xeroxed copies of a stephen king book that got him arested. Its because he designed and built a xerox machine.
Likewise, you can send all your friends the source code for your latest Internet worm, but if they compile and run it, they've crossed the line between communicating an idea and actually carrying it out.
Reading the book (compiling source code) and building the bomb (runing the program) Detonating it (using it to crack the DVD encryption)
Or at least he is according to his own theory. If matter converts constantly to energy until a point where there is nothing but energy and then returns to a state of a high density of matter. Then his use of a material that accelerates the transfer of matter to energy would surley cause us to destroy all matter(transfer to energy) in a shortened time.
That's why most video places require that you be 18 or have a parents consent to have rental privliges there. The parents then are responsible for the contract. This might be the defacto case regardless of the parents knowledge of the license.

A 4 year CS degree will give you the background you need to start, as far as learning the other languages, I've always found that I learn more outside of class. For instance I've learned c++ in class which has alowed me to pick up a couple books and teach myself perl and java. The university environment also exposes you to many people with the same interests that can help you learn linux or anything else you want, and gives you the time to do those things. Plus you're learning what you want and not just the specified curriculum. If I had it my way the only reason I'd see a professor is to ask questions:)
Linux is fun. Knowledge is, in fact, empowering, and learning and seeing how a computer actually works, especially in the context of a powerful idea like Open Source, is worth the grief and trouble.
That inherent curiosity to me is what the hacker/geek is all about. Sure we may feel pride about what we accomplish but its the feeling you get when you learn something new that drives us. Anyone with the will to learn more than what they need to get by will always be welcome to any help I can give them. Keep drivin on!!

This whole thing completely disregards the laws of individual areas, for example when it talks about child pornography, different places have different laws what may be perfectly acceptable someplace might be pornography in another. And if this is a voluntary action why is the wording say anything about illegal practices, if they were illegal there are already laws that deal with it. How would a law be voluntarily be accepted by a non-governmental body. And a falsely "international" one at that when only the major countries are going to have much say in what happens there.

Quote: "The GPL is in violent collision with the DMCA. That's why Linux guys are opposed to the DMCA."
huh? I mean I know damn near everything is being charged as a violation of the DMCA but... huh?
Right, cause the now displaced governments never killed their own people or anything.
correction, the quote should be this:

I tried this and I was in fact redirected without entering www. so that theory doesn't work.

I saw this on a list of Murphy's laws of combat but I think It applies to just about everything...
If its stupid but it works, its not stupid.
Yes, add a group called config file -> change the file to be owned by that group -> add that group to all your real developers.

Ohhh yes I completely agree only I will have already figured out whether or not we're screwed as will be at work that night >:(
Anyway here's to the case I'll be bringing to work.
