its actually kind of wierd, but i have too see the keyboard once to tell myself which i am using, and then i am fine though, really... with a few minor exceptions it was actually pretty hard to type the above message in qwerty on dvorak:)
Man, that would suck... if you ran too many processes, you could be incapable of keeping them down. All a computer would have to do is realize that it needs to spawn multiple processes... Then computers really could take over.
Quick delete that page before the apocalypse happens!
One of the primary purposes of essays are to learn how to write for a specific audience. If you remove the human element, then you aren't writing for any audience, unless, of course, everyone starts writing for computers' entertainment and education.
John Carmack, Yes, we know you are always buying expensive cars and what not. What is 95k to you, you? Just think -- a program that with some modification could export directly to md3... it works on all platforms that quake3 and hopefully doom3 will run on... with some backward compatability possible for quake2, quake1... an open source 3d modeller would be a great boost not only to the community, but to the mod community for id games. I think it would be a wise investment for you. Just a thought.
Do you only complain about Linux kernel releases? I dont hear half the complains when we hear Windows 2050 is in alpha. Now beta... Its gold... Its in stores now! I mean common, if you are going to complain about Operating System releases then you have to complain when we hear about the new OSX or whatnot. Just because Linux is probably more actively developed than any of those I previously mentioned doesn't mean that it shouldn't be reported on.

uh... the free 3d studio max program, that descreet is releasing isn't free... it will cost the company that wants to use it.. and it will be for winblowz only... as far as i know, this (the featured program of this article) is the first Open Source 3d modelling program ive seen.... Power to the GPL!

If one runs CVS versions of everything, (which, unless I am mistaken, you Can't do under Windows) you could theoretically get a patch every day.

I'm still waiting for mozilla to have java support, does anyone know if the mozilla team will ever achieve this?
