    You are an idiot, how the hell can you compare the Unreal 432 with Unreal 3236, do you have any idea what those numbers mean? . You are comparing a 2 year old engine with a 2 day old engine? The only reason you think the Doom 3 engine is all that is because of how pretty it is. Well, take another look. Your precious doom 3 engine is all indoors, id has never made a decent engine that can handle longer distances, the engines have always catered to close quarter combat. The Unreal engine is under constant redevelopment, handles long and short distance. Unreal sets the standard and others follow.

    That's a fair point and to prove it, you only have to look as far as what happened to Epic and the Unreal Tournament series. UT was so hugely popular and UT2K3 was such an abysmal failure. Now UT2K4 is a rock solid game and is very popular, the reason is that a independent production crew brought in an entirely new idea for the series, which is the Onslaught mode.

Maybe it would have been better to let the genocide continue in the Yugoslav countries. Before you speak about our military, know some history.     As an American I can't imagine giving my government half of my income. Sure you may have free health care, but I suspect that has more to do with high taxes.
