    The problem is when your distro overwrites your config file every boot, just to make sure everything is fresh. To modify it, you really need to modify the underlying m4 file, which needs a script run before the system takes effect!

    And with proper rotational backups, only the changed data is backed up

    I hate you. This is why I had a couple of orgs I worked at, when restore needed done, we had to start from two years ago, and then apply the changes from the backups going forward from the first. They're on tape? Even longer wait. A complete backup should be done if it can be. If not, it should be done on a regular basis.

    Giving my father a celeron 300A let me tell you what a piece of shit it was. It could barely run windows 98 at 466 mhz. These things were worthless

    I loved the game as well, as it wasn't only good, but had a special place for me because it was the first game I bought myself. It also helped that CompUSA had mistagged half of the stock for $0.99

    I bought 11th hour, still content with my DX2/66. It played fine, until I got an upgrade. Then it ran awesome. I didn't realize how slow the game was running until then. Friggin amazing. Windows 95 could do things. Not just grind away and sort of do things.

  11. Thanks. However, this goes against what I thought a laser was. Is this the actual nature of lasers, are these pointers not actually lasers, or is it both a laser and a really small flashlight?

  12. What I want to know is, ok, I see a plane and I have a laser pointer and I am an asshole... with all of those things, I can't fathom how you are going to hit the cockpit of a moving plane tens of thousands of feet away.

    The browser blocks its own popups, but sites get around this by having java or flash or whatever do the popup.

    There are a few spots where I hurt myself BAD and needed something for pain (Breaking my pinky toe to where it is purple and just hanging there, to a visually dislocated thumb). I tell the doc "Hey, I take excedrine 600mg 4 times a day due to headaches, documented for 30 years. Aleve does't work, ever. I can't take anymore NSAIDS". ALWAYS I get the "Well make sure you are taken care of. Here is a prescription"... for Naproxen Sodium

    I see this terrible website and I see no product with ctrl key in place where you speak. I see some vague keyboard layout configuration tool, but aside from picking colors and the number of keys for the layout, there is only a comment box for anything else

    Ok, so you are linking to an article to... what? I take in as little salt as I can and take Dyazide to remove excess levels. My blood pressure is lower for it. If/when I stop this, it goes sky high. This is fact, not an inconclusive, not-peer-reviewed study
