I think that one competition we may see in the alternate browsing community is KHTML (Konqueror and Safari) versus Gecko (Netscape and Mozilla-based). I feel that one of the weaknesses of the OSS/FS community is to fight over small things, when a bigger problem is at hand.
A solar storm on Halloween? That means that the planets will align, causing a gravitational pull that would draw in solar wind, detonating in the centre of the earth, forcing red hot maaagma outwards, erupting every volcano in the world!
I'm not sure about Codeweavers, but very low-level programs (eg binary drivers) will not work because the Linux emulation layer on BSD can not access the hardware directly. Why? Because drivers are already running below the emulation layer. High-level programs (like the binary-only Linux UT2004 server) almost always run great.
Small Linux should have everything you need, on two floppies, to mount a USB filesystem. If not, it is simply the matter of compiling a kernel and sticking it on one of the floppies. Good luck with your project!
GNU Screen is an awesome terminal application. It can let you log in, run screen, run a program, detach screen from the session, log out, and the program will still be running.
In the year 2021, experts have cracked the code.
Anonymous spokesperson for Cryptographists International claims that the code is loosely translated from Latin to mean, "You have way too much time on your hands."
It claims that having an x86 CPU is a big plus, but how many consumers either:
a) know what a processor architecture is, or
b) care?
It could be so that it runs Windows, to play Windows games, but with the size of the hard drive (20gb) and the current size of games (UT2004 is >5gb), how many PC games will fit? In a year, when the MoMA is released, I don't think that games will be getting any smaller.
Actually, the ^H protocol is used because really old UNIX machines didn't have a backspace key, so erasing one character behind the cursor was ^H (Ctrl + H). It is used today not as a design flaw, but as a way of saying, for example, "I will not work with these fools^H^H^H^H^Hgentlemen" as a way of calling these gentlemen fools, then "correcting" oneself (while leaving it obvious that the writer thinks that the gentlemen are fools).
Helllllllo, MSN search engine (aka ad finder). Excuse me while I put on my tin foil hat. But, you know, in Soviet Russia, tin foil makes hat out of YOU!

Oh yeh and can u have a sidebar type plug in that shows whos on icq/msn/or even an irc type thingy-majig.
1. This is about the core browsers, not extentions.
2. Chat-based extentions already exist, such as ChatZilla (IRC-only).
The movie is called "The $1400 Man"?

I guess that this is a big deal because I can't remember the last time Mozilla had a remote hole in it.

1. Fix SpaceShipOne 2. ? 3. Profit!
I guess that when you're designing a space ship, wind shear isn't the first thing you worry about.

I like to think of it as "Make Your Own Daemon."
Microsoft is going to be suing Texas for their electric chairs!
"Learning how to debug is just as precious to a programmer as learning how to code." That's nonsence. helloworld.cc worked the first time!

Unless you flash the EPROM, of course
Um . . . I think you need to buy the extra SIM to get the viruses and bluescreens^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^ H^H^H^H extra features.

How long till someone reserves http://moma-linux.sf.net/ ?
It's also eight years of purple and yellow design. THE GOGGLES! THEY DO NOTHING!
...storage large enough that in 4 years, everyone will have the terabyte of secondary memory needed for Longhorn!

In Soviet Russia, dead horse beats you!
The only thing that Microsoft is bringing to the arena of search engines is pornography sites when I search for "XFree86"!
