"They" don't "hate us for our freedom", but for the fact that we encourage their governments to keep boots on their necks. "They" hate us because, in propping up governments they despise, our militaries are invited to their lands. "They" hate us because we are seen as keeping them down.
"They" being, of course, the "terrorists". The vast majority of muslims, i imagine, just wish we'd stop fscking around with their lives so they can get on with them (which might include participating in some of that freedom we all enjoy).
the gp, who (apparently, with a straight face) acknowledges that the frickin' name is behind his apprehension of it, or all the others who (apparently, with straight faces) replied about the name and completely disregarded that 'tard excuse. Or that it somehow got modded "insightful" (wtf?).
But whatever - let 'em remain mystified and befuddled if it keeps the signal-to-noise at a convenient level.
I felt the same way immediately. But, what the heck - they (supposedly) have got an evaluation kit available. And from the article:
Light Blue Optics will be demonstrating the miniature PVPro evaluation kit at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, February 13-16 2006.
So, if you're interested, here's the link to the 3gsm conference website. Maybe with some digging around, we might find a lead on more objective info (and maybe some pics) somewhere.
When I left the position at NSA, I was required to sign an agreement that I would not discuss the tasks/environment/etc. for the next 70 years.... That agreement, which was a requirement...
A requirement for what? Leaving? What recourse would they have if you refused? I'm not trolling; i'm serious.
This is like an ex-cop who points out all the undercover cops to the drug dealers.
I'm not sure this analogy fits here. Maybe if the narcs are going around breaking the law and trampling on innocent peoples' civil rights, and the drug dealers only find out about the narcs because the ex-cop goes public with that information. Or something like that. Analogies usually suck.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor would be an interesting choice for this as well - a long, slow build up to a driving rhythm that becomes barely controlled chaos, ending suddenly and without warning.
were once chatting about the cameras overlooking Confederation Square in Ottawa. He suggested building a scale model, then videotaping himself in a Godzilla suit, and, well, you get the idea.
Of course, we'd have needed to find the camera and haul a VCR up to it to "enhance" its output, but it sounded like a lark. Oh, those crazy eighties...

Even funnier, considering the title of his post.

but those Heisenbugs can be a real bitch to isolate
they've given up on you.
unlike when your wife (or, perhaps, your mom) comes in when you're surfing pr0n, actually fucking her (the wife, that is) is ok.
Interesting site you have there, btw. Is that really you? You're so dreamy!
Still, i'd like to see what it really can do.

You just described the UN when Bolton walks into the room.
Now, if there's any justice, you'll be modded redundant. Quit yer whining!
So it lives in Republicans, then...
comedy questions you!
wishing i had mods for you now
making jokes couched in ignorance. How very... normal. Hey AC - your president is a shitbag and a draft-dodger.
that the head of their "Linux and open-source lab" is also their "director of Platform Technology Strategy"? Why ever should that be?

because you have nothing better to do than to read about this on /. and then whine about it.
wish it could of had better results, image is crap... So, which is more pathetic? The hack or this response?

But they're pretty much all Mac users.
I do remember one thing.
It took hours and hours,
I heard they were back on tour.
OK, i really misunderstood what you were saying. I thought you were talking about some company's legitimate web app or something. Sorry.
