CRT's are a thing of the past now. Flat screens, and LCD's are the things of the present. I've got a flat screen monitor, and it's a lot clearer than any CRT I owned in the past.

I'm looking forward to The Wind Waker 2 (tentitive title). The Wind Waker was a blast, regardless of what the graphics looked like. I'm also looking forward to Mario 128. It's likely that both of these games won't be on store shelves until 2005 though.

It's the fault of the parents for letting they're kids play the violent video games in the first place. Most kids can't tell the different between right and wrong. That's up to the parents to teach them.

I remember when this first came out last February. Everyone was trying to get in, but I guess we overloaded the server. I finally got a chance to try it out though. It was like a glorified chat room. There wasn't much point to walking around since you couldn't do anything in the rooms. An inventory system, and a few quests would of been nice. It had a lot of potential though. Too bad it didn't last. Perhaps somebody will do something great with the source code.

I think it's great that they do these studies so that the big name companies know which games are greatest hits, and thus what kind of games the players want to see designed in the future.

I don't know what the obsession with Mars is either. It's so close to Earth anyway. I'd rather know what's out in the farther reaches of space. We don't know much about what's beyond our own solar system. Let's send some robots to the deepest reaches of space and see what's there.
I wonder if this be anything like the WarpPipe project. So far they're software works with Mario Kart: Double Dash and a few other games. I guess that's only for fooling games with LAN support into playing online though. Any online news about the Gamecube is great though.

Yeah, that must be frustrating. I've been thinking about upgrading to a 64bit processor myself. It just seems like not too much of the general population has it right now. So, not too many people would go out and buy a 64bit Windows if it were out right now. It's like decades ago when some broadcasters began telecasting TV shows in color but color televisions had just came out. I'm sure everyone will upgrade to 64bit processors eventually though.

This is unfortunate news. How many times has it been delayed now? Seems it was originally going to be released in September 2003, then sometime in Spring 2004, and now Summer 2004. At this rate Duke Nukem: Forever will be out before Half-Life 2. Oh, well...

The iPod is a great piece of hardware, and The Lord of the Rings is a great trilogy. Interesting to see the two going hand in hand.
