Chrono Trigger is a close second, but yah, Secret of Mana is, imho, quite literally the Best Game Ever. I haven't played through any other game nearly as often as Secret of Mana.
And while an emulator gives you the benefit of speed-up and being able to influence battles to the point of being invincible, having your pro-pad (shorter reaction times & auto-fire ability) on a real SNES is still better.
Richard,
who taped the music when riding the dragon just before the sky castle appears so he could listen to it more often
HID has been around for ages, as have other lighting technologies. The more Watts your light source drains, the more power is output in heat and light. Apart from those obvious points, one thing remains: form factor. If you truly want a light that you can use for 15 minutes and no more, this is innovative. If you want this kind of portable light source with reasonable usage times, look into the emergency search & rescue area or the scuba community. Disclaimer: scuba lights are usually designed with the heat transfer rates of water, not air, in mind.
Finally, if you want to build those things yourself: http://www.tauchfunzel.de/OSTAR1_en.htm

Have fun pasting that into their checking thing at http://www.networksolutions.com/ - it's a pity you can only 'check' 10 domains at once:/
If anyone can wrap that into a POST request, please reply here:)

freenode generally blocks all tor connections to our normal servers. We have two systems for TOR access in place:
A normal hidden access node at mejokbp2brhw4omd.onion , which currently does not accept any new connections. Established connections are not affected.
A GPG-TOR system where every user has his or her own iline which can be accessed at 5t7o4shdbhotfuzp.onion . As you can generate throwaway keys, this keeps anonymity while allowing for accountability. This is the preferred access method and not affected by the TOR block.
You can find more information here or in #freenode on irc.freenode.net.
In Germany, the road surface is redone every ~30 years, every 10 or so for the right-most track as that is where the trucks drive. A complete renewal must be done after ~70 years. That is with extreme cold in winter and sometimes rather hot summers. There are materials that last even longer, but the roads sink in where the tires usually run, so this does not make sense.
The only road surfaces that are redone more often are the highly trafficed ones where you have special tarmac that acts more or less like a gutter, eleminating the splash water from cars driving in front of you. Those are porous and thus the ice damages them with the constant freeze-thaw-freeze cycle in winter. They would last longer, but the reduced traffic accident rate mandates replacing it so the water can drain, once again.
Compared to this, US roads and highways feel more or less like off-road tracks (yes, I have been there).
Long story short: You get what you pay for. Long-lasting roads are cheaper in the short term, but they cost more in the short term.
Sure, and if you want to put up with the possibility that, eg, trying to use tab-completion will cause your shell to dump core then, by all means, use testing.
I have been running servers on testing and desktops on unstable for several years. Baring one hdd failure on a laptop, I have had zero broken systems. I even somewhat agree that time zones are, in fact, security related, making your later point moot as we agree on the basic issue.
But please do both yourself and your readers a favour and do not invent hyperboles just to make a {wrong} point.
To quote: There is no doubt that parts of the world are getting warmer, but the warming is not global
Well, duh. The _average_ temperature is rising, not the temperature in every single spot of earth. Some places get colder, some get warmer, some wetter, some get drier, combinations thereof, etc.
I know that global climate has always been changing and fluctuating. Nonetheless, in Germany, where we have correct software and data that goes back farther than the US data, the last 5 summers were the hottest, wettest, coldest, etc etc respectively since we started recording this stuff in the late 19th century. The last two winters were the coldest ever and the warmest ever since we keep records. Also, the Gulf Stream _is_ slowing, no matter what people try to tell you. The full cycle of the gulf stream takes something like 250 years so do not expect it to stop any time soon, but if it does, Europe becomes a _lot_ colder. Think Canada or Siberia. Also, the monsoon will disappear. That means an estimated 1.5 to 2 billion people will be very hungry and looking for alternatives of getting food from. Never mind that the Indians will have a lot more political, economical and military bang by then.
Yes, some arguments that are 'pro' global warming are strange at best. But just ignoring the fact that there _is_ change and not trying to not impact the environment as badly as we are doing just now is just stupid.
As a side note, the overall effect of ecological sound behaviour on a national economy has been shown to be _positive_. It just happens that the money will not go to the large, established companies that still belch out crap any more. Which is why they lobby against it.
But remember: Just because some arguments in favour of a standpoint are wrong does not mean the standpoint itself has to be.
Let's suppose it was possible to know the state of your system at the time of the alleged fraud as opposed to looking afterwards.
Let's suppose this does not create a situation where a tech-savvy user can potentially game the system by checking his system after challenging a transfer.
Let's even suppose laptops and portable computers did not exist.
Still, this system is broken. Of course, a solution has been available for years: HBCI cards with class 3 or 4 readers. You get a smart-card with an external reader. This reader has its own pinpad (class 2 and above), it also has it's own display to show account numbers, the amount you are about to transfer etc (class 3 and above). I think class 4 is additionally hardened against snooping attacks, but I could be wrong. In any case, the smart card does all computations, the reader handles the important parts of the input and output. There is no remote attack vector. You must have physical access and steal the card.
In Germany, this system has worked for years and I know of no single case of abuse if the card was not stolen.
FinTS is the successor of HBCI. FinTS 3.0 offers the use of signature cards (special smart cards that fulfil certain legal requirements) which enables you to do all transactions on all accounts and with all banks with the same card you can use to sign documents etc.
FinTS 4.0 employs XML and allows asynchrounous transfers, for example via signed email.
Of course, this costs money (about 40-60 Euro for the card and a good reader). And as we all know, the sheep would rather have their lifes and PCs inspected by everyone and his grandma than to use a technologically sound system that is proven to work.
Funny, there I was, always thinking that the main aspect which is missing in the movie was the basic idea that only people who served the public (_not_ only in the military, but nurses, sewage workers, the lot, also. He stated himself in Expanded Universe that it was his single largest error to not make that point more clear) should be allowed to serve in public office..;)
So, what you are saying is that you would like to try something new of which you heard that it was cool, but you have to learn new things to use it? Well, tough luck, but hey, that will happen everywhere. Also, the time initial time investment will pay off manifold when you are used to the feature set and can efficiently Do Stuff. If, of course, you expect an editor to behave exactly like Notepad++, i would suggest using.. Notepad++
Trackpoints don't have any moving parts, either. They are using the piezo effect (clickie here). This also means they need to realign on each startup, but at least on the Thinkpads, you can do that per software, too. Yes, both Linux and Windows.
..good sites will sign the hash with a private key. In this case, having the ability to change the hash, too does not mean it would be desirable for the attacker.
The routers cost about $500 each, and you need two of them for a point-to-point connection.
Well.. Duh.
Note to self: If you c&p text into the browser, make sure you mark it as plain text..

Using advanced techniques, I was able to determine that you are wrong.
It is 200 Watts.
So you are saying you have a built-in DoS switch? Not saying that a RST can't do the same, but still..
Please, in the name of all that is holy (relative to $deity of your choice), make that version detect and handle softlinks correctly!
