My Nextel Motorola i836 has a nice Intel Pentium 4 HT Sticker on the back of it. Gets about as hot as one too...:P People actually ask me if there is a P4 in there too. Gives me a laugh every time.
while you're at it, join team Hackaday while you're folding. We're going to jump into the top 100 in about 4 days, but we need more users to jump into the top 10.

Awesome. Good luck with the cookies and the job.
Ft. Wayne isn't that bad actually. Pretty much everything you want and it's just a short drive to other metro areas (Toledo/Detroit/Indy).
I don't know where you're going in Indiana, but here in South Bend, I have never seen an old lady handing out cookies. Good luck here if your job's in IT, hopefully you've already secured one before moving out, since the job market is pretty scarce here. *Note: I am a recently graduated college student in Computer Engineering from Purdue. I just got a semi-decent job in the middle of nowhere at a wire production facility.
Being on the floor below ITaP (Information Technology at Purdue), I could have swore that I heard the high pitched screams of many undergrad IT folk as the server melted...no wonder it's so hot in here...
This sounds like a case of last-minute firmware revisions to the touchscreens. I wonder why its not that widespread. Maybe those DSes that are affected are of a slightly older generation?
I'd get a conventional teacher, or just start listening to songs to try to get some of the notes right. Start with the real easy classics and then build from there. To help with that I'd use TabIT http://www.tabit.net/ to get the notes. Simply imput the.tab file which you can find here http://www.guitartabs.cc/ or http://www.mxtabs.net/ here. TabIT reads the tab and displays it while it plays it with MIDI. You can slow it down or do whatever you want with it. Only available for windows.
I whole heartedly expected GTA: SA and Halo 2 to sweep the categories. Best shooter: Halo 2? Wow, I'm glad it wasn't in the same category as HL2 or Doom 3 or Far Cry... It was simply commercialized hype for the well funded console games.
indeed true, used CDs are a great thing. i personally just go to the library and either rip the mp3s off the music there / borrow a cd from my friends.
my qualm is with people who dont understand downloading music. why shouldnt we? because its "theft"? no, its theft that the RIAA and Co. charge upwards of $18.00 a CD!
There are plenty of ways to get music w/o feeling bad about it. I will continue to download music, and not feel bad at all.
yeah well i hate to hear about the accidents of people who are surfing for porn while driving...
this could be a serious safety hazard for those canadians who arent getting any...
aye, i'd hold off till the technology was a bit more advanced/user friendly...
the advantage of phone cards is that you cant trace the calls. disadvantage, you cant have people just user caller-id to call you back..

"The secret to programming is having smart friends." Exactly how I passed my first programming course years ago.

So my choice for CS as my first major wasn't a horrible idea? Awesome...
