There is no way all these emails just go missing and if someone can just tell you this and you lap it up well I gotta break it to you, your likely retarded. You may not realize what kind of a set up these people are working with but its a tad more advanced then a sendmail server. On top of it all you have programs like Carnivore that recorded everything, not only a small subsection of traffic but everything it could get its hands on but now you say that someone who stands to benefit from a 'clean slate' has an equal chance of being the fall guy.
Well I hope if you ever have to go in front of Judge Judy with that kind of excuse but if you do post here and let us know how it goes.

The point you bring is that the person who paid owns the idea. Do not forget to consider the student pays for School Resources as part of their tuition and the Govt pays for the use of the faculty which in turn uses their 'resource' the student. So it's not really that finely cut. Just because the College / University receives money does not necessarily mean they can use you to cover their part of the deliverable. If you are partaking in a group or focused class that specifically works on a project for this deliverable then I hope your not paying much to take the class ;)

I have to get this off my chest. I was using Chrome for a while when it was in beta and it was fast! Pages loaded using about %50 less cpu power on my p4 2.53Ghz box and I was happy. Then I noticed there were many sites out there that gave me this 'oops' screen with an image of a confused computer looking back at me. That wasn't such a big deal. then I noticed my HDD was thrashing like mad and wouldn't stop. I closed down Chrome and it still went on,looked at my processes (XP) and the little bastard was still there flying though IO like it was going out of style. I uninstalled Chrome and kept on using FireFox.

Chrome comes out of beta I get curious again and it doesn't have the same problems any more ! Now I use it more, the more I use it the more ad's are all over the screen the more I started to use FireFox again. Now its not really even worth it to use Chrome, I still have it installed and I use it sometimes for sites that look cool but have massive JS resources that freeze up FireFox but aside from that forget it.

Sure it looks like Chrome is an excellent program but its like listening to Bach in HIFI with a nasty static overlay. FireFox might take a bit longer to load in some cases but the product is definitely more 'worth it' in my books.

Maybe you need to format your computer and it comes back telling you to take a hike or you need to use it for a couple mins on your laptop but since it doesn't have the TPM chip it won't go? This will only work if everyone who uses it has some sort of "Trusted Computing" software / hardware combo and by agreeing to install that what else are you agreeing to?

    Just food for thought.

It's not really the idea of the holes it's just coming up with another way to give less ink / toner from the cartridge. These guys want to stop and go with the usage giving you 100% black / color with small 0% black spots all over it. This is the extreme idea but can also be solved by lowering the black from 100% all the time to about 80% and have a clean looking image / text printout which would likely be more pleasing on the eyes.

Even evaluating different brightness values of the paper you buy will increase contrast and likely lower your acceptable black level for increased savings.

It's funny how you mention with such certainty that the (Christian?) Bible was never modified even though I am personally skeptical that this could be proven you forget that there were very few people around that time that could even read including many of the clergy so as the Bible was being copied (by hand mind you) who was to say it was the same as another by any scale?

The Bible was put together at a time where people were forced to burn materials that did not conform to the 'faith' put forward by the Church . So if you think about it if all of the creative works seemed to contrary to the Bible then is it really all encompassing? What is it about human ideas and thoughts that was so scary that to become a Christian you had to burn all the books you owned(refer to link above) and what is it about the Bible that gives so much shelter from our selves?

First they put together a bit of a hack and see what happens. I think it would be more cost effective to deliver both solutions on the die rather than an expansion slot, it will also make the unit more potent clock for clock since it is sitting on all the bandwidth the mother board and north bridge can supply. Once we start getting good communication going with the device we can start playing with it.

I have to admit my self though with everyone complaining about open sourcing the specs of the card at the hardware level is really cool and will help as far as creative programming goes since it opens up for some crazy efficient programming as well opportunities to take advantage of anomalies that might turn out being interesting and change the course of the industry. There is nothing at all wrong with telling these companies what you want and if they give it a chance I think they will be impressed.

I always thought the ISP route is a good idea. It monetizes the network and allows for the owners to compete. What is bad is any one person owning the infrastructure. If the city laid 2-4 fiber cables to each dwelling and insure their quality there should quite a longevity over the 'last mile'. From there the city takes care of the multiplexing and sends it to a hardwired ISP. At this level certain ISP's can cater to different markets and even devote resources such as drive space to community (ISP wise) efforts such as P2P file sharing hosted by the ISP.

The bad thing about the way telcos are presently involved is they are also in control of how the network preforms for everyone and not just themselves. I personally believe no one or no company should own anything outside of their land, we are the ones (residents) that will have to deal with pipes and wires eventually if it really is necessary for mass transportation of anything we should definitely centralize what effects the city vs letting the company decide how it is done so we may branch off of the system using that to our advantage. Even 'one of' situations still require basic connections (wire/piping) that can be utilized.
