Well, you can change your "Anonymous Modifier" under preferences to something like -6, and all those comments will go away. Me? I prefer listening to everyone.

He first got a job at Microsoft, then Google. Seems to me the guy will be able to land another good one soon. Maybe he didn't like the work enviroment. Maybe Google isn't all you've been made to believe. Maybe not all Google employees are uber-geeks. Maybe he's just a dumbass. Guess we'll never find out.

Actually, it would be very easy for Microsoft to do server-side checking. Whenever you try to use Windows Update, it would send your key and they could verify it against a list of legit ones. Kinda like Steam does with Half-Life. True, you could use the same key in different computers, but at least you'd have to steal a key, instead of just using a keygen.

  9. destroy a movie? on George Lucas to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award · · Score: 1

I can't believe how two or three little changes can "destroy" a movie. I enjoyed the original saga, and even if Greedo shoots a split-second earlier, I think the restoration and improvements that have been made to image quality (e.g. lightsabres) are worth it.

In other news, Congress is now sponsoring the "Y-Prize", which awards 1M to the first private spaceship that safely lands on Mars surface.

They're also outsourcing NASA jobs to India, I guess.
