    There's about 10,000 versions of ping too, so your metric doesn't really make much sense. If it did all we'd do all day is shout ping at each other across networks.

    Also if we get a bit more topical there's loads of versions of linux compared to a handful of versions of windows.

    Rumours about that existed far far far before the steam on Ubuntu/Linux thing started.

    With linux support, I think they could viably do it too.

    Charity = tax status, possible "good feelings" for donatee

    Crowdfunding = low value donations en mass for negligable reward, possible "good feelings" for donatee

    Yes of course they should of thought about this before designing the hardware with a maximum ability to comprehend a ipv4 IP; but then again someone should of thought of the Y2K problem before 1998....

    Yeah, I originally thought the same thing then realized the issue. It only works if they _expect_ you to survive.

    So I remember reading stories which basically said if you control ENOUGH of the bitcoin currency, you can then start faking the chain and cause it to split in two which would really screw with the economy. Does this guy now own enough to execute this? It'd explain his "I'm goign to get 7% back" claims by simply he'd be diverting funds from others due to the weighting of his own coins...

    Or maybe I'm utterly confused; I forget :)

    6 months doing _what_ is the question you need to ask. He already knows the kind of social influence he needs to rise to the "top" of headless organizations such as anon. And anon has the lovely thing that no one needs to ask who you are. Anyone asking would be viewed with suspicion....

    Cut off one head and many shall spawn in its place? What happens when that head is under the control of the feds I wonder?

    Seriously, you've not pointed out whats _wrong_ with your spreadsheets to help us make _any_ real suggestion.

    Firstly your gunning to change a system which apparently works. This is asking for failure.

    As others have pointed out this could very simply be a database + web front end, but unless you know _why_ your changing it, your likely to make it worse.

    compress the files up until that size;

    Move compressed file onto storage;

    request new storage, start again.

    You fail to understand what gentoo does properly.

    It has bin packages; That means you can either compile the package yourself; or grab the bin package from any number of bin package providers..... With debian, how often can you choose someone elses compliation of the same package, have the package manager actually manage updates for it properly and not blow up when some updates come through for the shared libs?

    So erm, whats the point of your distro again?

    2. Don't actually attempt to contact anyone at G+ about your account; simply click "recheck link on profile"
    3. Post on Slashdot notice of your banning - make sure to state you didn't break the rules ever, except for those times you did.
    4. Tell visitors you didn't miss G+; but you still feel its worth wasting their time by having them read about your lack of missingness of G+

    Yes, I just coined the term "missingness" when items aren't simply missing; but they are so unfindable they have a high missingness rating.
