When I bought my MINI in 2005, I was able to order any options I wanted and they built the car exactly how I specified. This is from a NY dealer and exactly opposite to my experience buying a Toyota (also in NY). Franchise law is not relevant to being able to customize your purchase.
I bought a DEC Microvax for work many years ago and after many meetings with the DEC people about the specs of the thing, it was delivered with a 30Meg hard drive. After a few days the tech came to update the OS and found the disk was full as delivered so the update could not be done and we could not run any programs. Their solution was for us to delete all the help files and other "unnecessary" stuff. Sigh. We upgraded to a whopping 150Meg.
Or in upstate NY in the winter. Plus even if my wife could get in one of these she couldn't get out of it. Plus you would need a motorcycle license for a 3-wheeler. Plus electric bikes have restrictions state by state...
"Anonymous communications have an important place in our political and social discourse. The Supreme Court has ruled repeatedly that the right to anonymous free speech is protected by the First Amendment. A much-cited 1995 Supreme Court ruling in McIntyre v. Ohio Elections Commission reads:
Protections for anonymous speech are vital to democratic discourse. Allowing dissenters to shield their identities frees them to express critical minority views . . . Anonymity is a shield from the tyranny of the majority. . . . It thus exemplifies the purpose behind the Bill of Rights and of the First Amendment in particular: to protect unpopular individuals from retaliation . . . at the hand of an intolerant society."

I'll bet any amount that the people that designed and built the old satellites are not around anymore. "Next generation" is industry speak for "We have to start all over again.". Of course, I have no facts to back this up.
It's a question of do I like it or not and whether I want to spend the money on another OS when the one I've got still works fine. I just have no compelling reason to give up WIN7.
Too bad PETA will not allow us to exploit bacteria in this cruel manner. You have to ask their permission first. Individually.

Maybe he is President-Elect of Utah.
The answer is 42.
Lets call it a BBS.
Glad I'm not the only one who approached nausea while playing this.
Good point. Meter is required to be outside where I live (or maybe this is National Electrical Code requirement).

Since corporations are considered to be people in the US, this means we can all do the same thing and pay only 2% tax!
"According to New York State and municipal legislation, electric bikes are 100 percent illegal to ride. The good news for e-bike proponents? The laws regarding the bikes are so contradictory and confusing that you’d be hard-pressed to find a police officer who would give you a ticket."

You are not supposed to do developing at all. Use your smartphone to watch TV and movies as God intended.
Yes! I still use a Garmin iQue 3600 which runs Palm OS and it has a similar screen setup routine.
Puna Geothermal Ventures has been operating for decades. http://www.hawaiisenergyfuture.com/articles/Geothermal.html
Power from the geothermal plant is sold to Hawaii Electric at the same price as power from oil-fired sources.
Oil and naphtha generated electric capacity has been increased so that power from wind/geothermal is not needed (this was a few years ago though).
Geothermal power has been unreliable with many mechanical problems. There are environmental issues: http://cleantechnica.com/2012/04/28/hawaii-residents-raise-serious-concerns-about-pgv-geothermal-energys-clean-energy-credentials/
1ft water is trivial for nearly any car. Some have the engine air intake low so you do have to be careful.
The internet was not meant for children.
There is no second place.
What's next? Make the internet safe for babies and kittens?

Shocked, I tell you, SHOCKED!
He was just describing what was sitting behind the OLPC worker.

As far as I know, insurance does not pay for hearing aids.
Let me explain the IF,THEN statement to you...
Windows 9 will get the desktop down to 1 tile.

Good thing a country like Iran doesn't want to do this!
