Western Panama has the upland climate of Costa Rica with the better roads.. David is the provincial capital but the cooler highland cilmates of Boquete, Volcan, Cerro Punta, Bambito, etc are much nicer if the humidity bothers you. You end up with highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s pretty much year-round. Even up there you aren't that far from the beach. The main problem is that it has been pretty much discovered by expats so the prices have gone up considerably.
Among the big advantages in Panama for US - the country basically uses US dollars for its currency, no exchanging needed. They do mint their own coins in the same sizes and denominations (they will even work in the same vending machines), you almost forget to swap out your coins when you get back. The bills are US bills. This dates back to the canal construction.
However, the vast majority of the business and work to be done there is in the capital, which is at sea level and much hotter and more humid. You also have access to better medical care there than in the "interior" (which is what they call anywhere that isn't in the middle of the country since odds are that is where you arrive). Most of the work in the highland regions is agricultural or tourism-based.
as far as your note about no roads, the Darien Gap (Panama's eastern province and the adjacent area of Columbia) you do not want to go there. That gap is the largest tract of jungle they have left, and anywhere a road is built the jungle disappears within a certain distance as people move in to those lands. The areas that remain (out past Yaviza or so) are dangerous, FARC sometimes operates there, and people have been kidnapped attempting to traverse it.
that's pretty much how I view Bing. I use the various Bing's Best themes, using their RSS feeds. Or just strip out the images I like (mostly landscapes) and add them to desktop slideshow theme (I have to do this when at places that do not allow RSS).
I can understand (though still loathe) people who leave the y axis normal for an FPS. But this is in a flying mount, there is no exuse for the Y axis not being the way it was meant to be...
Samsung cares about the workers and their take home pay. They could not morally bring themselves to slash the pay needed to meet apple's draconian price demands, which would reduce them to even worse working conditions and abject poverty.
On the other hand, apple cares about the US consumers, and passes along the savings of the cheaper screens to the consumer.
Kittinger's story is amazing. He used to call into a florida talk show I listened to when I lived there from time to time to talk about some of the stuff involved with his jump. He is consulting on this attempt, so while this attempt might seem a stunt, at least Kittinger is apparently getting paid for it.
All I know is I'm having more fun discovering stuff in that game, and uncovering the storyline, than i've had in a game in some time, including single player games. As for guild wars 2, I honestly have no desire to play it, but good for them, i'm sure they'll draw the people that like that kind of thing.
It was 106 at my car on friday when I got out of work. It was 107 outside my house saturday. Some areas around atlanta his 109 reportedly. My work parking lot is a big slap of concrete surrounded on 3 sides by buildings and the 4th by a hill, so it focuses heat even more with no chance of wind.
On way home from work stopped at a bank drive thru. While in line I normally fill out my slip on the back of my visor, which is solid enough to be a good writing surface. Couldn't. It was too hot to rest my hand on it, as it was painfully hot to touch.
Mostly stayed indoors as much as possible. Installed some thicker curtains to block more sunlight. Drank a lot of water. Made sure dogs did not stay long in yard, and did not walk on pavement.
I used to live in florida, which stays hot longer, but doesn't get as hot because the sea moderates it somewhat. But it was more humid there. Prior to that I lived in the republic of panama, which is even moreso (never gets anywhere near as hot, but even more humid).
I just keep telling myself that here, at least the heat eventually ends.
even though my zune player is long dead, I keep my subscription going. I just sync them to my android phone these days, and re-sync when the license runs out. Originally I thought I would have to get a windows phone to do this, but it works fine through windows media player of all things.
To read the linked article, you'd think the reviews were lukewarm to negative.
Then you click on one of them, the PC magazine review and it gives it "4/5 with its "bottom line" summary as "The first easy-to-use, affordable small-screen tablet, the Amazon Kindle Fire is revolutionary."
Verge was slightly less positive, giving it 75%, but finishes with "Still, there's no question that the Fire is a really terrific tablet for its price. "
Fedex drones, Google Streetview Drones, Pizza Delivery Drones, Banner-toting advertisement drones, Summons serving drones, etc etc..

Simple solution...to prevent jamming... put the simulator... inside the drone!
I'm interesting in what kind of background did you have that lead to this series? Did you do any video productions prior to "Will it Blend"?

Apart from that very cool video.

I finally found a use for it.
...just not widely reported
I would have construction work done on a union site without 100% certified union labor.
What if the dead onlive were to try a pac-man defense against the living onlive?

I can't speak to its business prospects.

That thing was way ahead of its time. But Gates and Balmer killed it. and now Allard is off doing something else...

they had instead introduced marauding bands of genetically engineered koalas to devastate the eucalyptus trees?
My favorite call began thus:
"I have a memory problem but can't remember what it is."
(user had seen a message regarding memory but couldn't recall the exact text, and was hoping to convey this.).
AT&T, Verizon and Sprint endorse this plan.
note warranty does not cover use of phone as paddle.
HOw will they do that?
the user would need to buy additional content to enhance their experience.
Just wondering what that might be, what you might discover once you start enjoying your flight...

I still use this on an ancient fujitsu stylistic windows (xp) tablet. For taking notes it beats anything I've done on later stylus-less tablets.
