Even with harddrives there were few games that let you install and run from it. Granted there was hacks to get around that for a lot of games, it wasn't built into games until the end side of the Amiga's life. and even then usually only for games that came on a large amount of disks.

I think it's only fitting, keeping in mind, that in the old Amiga/Atari days, booting directly into your games was an absolutely normal thing to do - hardware resources were scarce, and the last thing you wanted was sharing RAM and precious CPU cycles with an OS running in the background.

Actually it was because of copy protection we booted from floppies.

How fun is it to do the same things over and over and over and over for very little reward? Seriously, that sounds like a minimum wage job that barely covers the bills.

But then, I play EQ2 and you can argue i do the same crap over and over and over and over. So I guess each his own.

But then I bot in EQ2, i control 6 toons at once (have to, no one plays anymore). In a guild with a few other botters and some live people. We have fun and do decently well. So it's all in the fun you make.

No, that is not what is happening. The NSA, because it doesn't have backdoors everywhere, have to buy 0 day exploits to gain access to systems.

While NSA might be able to get some companies to put back doors in their software, they can't get most. So they have to use exploits to break into systems.

So they want to blame the school, otherwise they feel that fault would be there own.

As for bullying, we are a culture of being bullies. It's in our movies, our tv shows, it's how business get bigger, it's how America treats the rest of the world. By being a bully. It's what we teach our kids, that you have to be mean to get ahead. That you can get anyone to do what you want by threatening them in some way, either physical, mental, and/or economically. So yes, kids are quick, they pick up on what adults do, and they copy it.

But hey, it's the internet age, we can blame everyone else for our failures.

You know, where we claim people are innocent until proven guilty, yet doing every little thing they can (the USA) to keep the trial in there favor, if it even ever goes to trial.

Look, you have a low UID, so i expect some smarts out of you, but apparently you are senile if you don't think the "Mega" has nothing to do with anyone else. It's one of the big shows the government put on for the Music/Movie industry. Why did they really go after mega? Because people like you think that because of what ever Kim's past have already judged him. You already think he's a criminal, so you are okay with the USA government breaking laws to put him out of business. They are counting on that.

It is sad that someone who's opinions can be revered on this site (because of the low UID) is so out of touch with how this case affects everyone.
