I wonder if such a technology could be used in artificially enhancing the muscles of a person to make a super-human, or super-soldier. The chemistry can't be that complex, so I'm sure it's possible through bio-chemical engineering. I'd bet $100 that the US and others have done it before.

Yes, they did it once, but a Nazi spy killed the doctor, who was the only person who knew how to create the Super-Soldier Serum. The Doctor, who's name has changed twice, didn't apparently trust the "cloud" and wanted job security by refusing to write down every crucial element of the treatment, leaving behind a flawed, imperfect knowledge of the needed steps.

What the fuck are you talking about? Media still makes money just fine. They are unhappy because they want money for every viewing of a program. That is unreal, yet it is what they want. Part of the problem is they didn't jump into the internet age, the other problem is, people are sick of their bullshit. But the media companies are making money just fine.

Game publishing companies? No, they stupidly adopted the Hollywood method, which is to spend big bucks making just AAA titles, which of course, doesn't work for software publishing, mainly when all the AAA titles are based on hardware that is 5+ years old and technology has rolled way past that.

The media companies need to accept how they did business is over, it's a new game. And some are, I noticed bluray copies of TV Shows like Sinbad coming out right away at the end of the season. Smart move.

Free legal ebooks are plenty and if you are like me and don't care about downloading copyrighted material, there is a ton of ebooks you can download and find very easy.

But yes, Amazon's hope is that the people will buy ebooks via Amazon, but no kindle is restricted to that only.

It's a big deal and it sucks that we're arresting so many people under these laws. Mr. Bean is right - section 5 of the public order act needs to go!

Considering that you can get arrested for the stupidest shit in England, i would think everyone would have some sort of minor arrest records.

Sort of like how 30+ years ago (in the USA) you had to do something serious to get felony charge and now they hand them out for anything.

Moved onto New Zealand after burning those bridges, ran a site that gave rewards and turned a blind eye to piracy of everything under the sun. No idea what his next venture is going to be, but the man is a pirate by reputation.

So what? You butthurt because he narc'd on you? Or did you invest in his investments? Because no one gives a fuck about that shit, at all. What is on the table is his Megaupload site, and the fact that without it going to trial, the USA managed to get him out of business and even copies of his data, which wasn't legally theirs to take. Not to mention so far that it appears that the RIAA and MIAA convinced politicians that they have close ties to (namely, they pay off) to go above the law in bringing megaupload down.

So no matter how much you bring up the past, it doesn't change that the USA Government overstepped their bounds at the request of some corporations. Now the USA is scared to bring it to court because it's going to be embarrassing for some key political figures, like the vice president.

Those same people use other sites currently. So Megaupload wasn't a cause of piracy at all, it was just a vehicle that was used.
