I tried very hard to buy a decent weedkiller without it in, but ended up just buying Roundup because it was on a special offer as a result of the negative press.
A little known add on for Windows clients: RemoteApp for Hyper-V. It allows Windows clients (XP+) to be used as seamless application hosts for RDP clients.
Ages ago, I put a quick bit of javascript in the HEAD of my webpages that checked the URL and if it wasn't as expected, booted you to where you should be.
As a result, when I heard about the Wayback Machine and tried to view old copies of my website I got booted to the current one...
I've always found the classification system in this country(UK) ridiculous... Contains sci-fi action, violence and peril
The key word there is violence.
And they're rating it PG... I mean LotR was a "PG, not suitable for under 8s" which was pretty ridiculous. If its a PG, its a PG, otherwise it should be a 12.
The film industry is putting increasing pressure on the censors to maximise their audience and thus increase their box office revenue!
If you are on a monthly contract in the UK, your initial handset cost is vastly reduced by the carrier from the price you would have to pay for an unlocked model.
The downside of this is if you want a replacement handset and want to continue your contract, it can be quite expensive as only the initial handset is cheaper. Its frequently easier and cheaper to move to another network, especially if you want to keep the same number.
If you want to move network, the carrier will supply you with a code to give to your new provider for perhaps a small fee - this used to be a huge problem but has been made really easy recently.
If I install a bit of trialware, for example off the front of a magazine or even downloaded, I don't trust it to completely go away when I uninstall it.
And I don't like it when there are issues upgrading from trailware to the full product.
Don't have any personal experience of them (not yet, anyway...) but I know that Windows 2000 Unix Services (comes with the Resource KIT IIRC) allow your Win2K box to serve NFS and NIS out of your Active Directory...

If anyone is running anything critical, they're probably members of the appropriate Announce mailing lists (and if not, why not?) which will tell them about any security patches and new realeases.
You've got to remember that even though some security holes may exist, they may not be a threat to you dependant on your OS/config/firewalling.
Ok,its a funky novelty, but the last time I had a lovely heated can of Nescafe coffee, I felt that most of the volume of the can was taken up with chemical mumbo jumbo, so I don't feel that I was getting much value for money.
Although, to their credit, you can get cans of hot coffee in a variety of flavours- milk, milk & sugar etc.
The novelty soon wore off. Now, Nescafe Ice... thats fine!
Its not technically been released yet. Its codenamed Whistler. I think we have a beta of it sitting in our copy of the MSDN at work but we haven't had time to look at it.
I would expect the licence for the server version to differ from the desktop version at any rate - M$ have limited their desktop brands to 10 concurent connections, but their servers aren't as limited, for example.
Who in their right mind would use WinXP for a web server? If you had to use an M$ box, it'd be one of the OS's (NT4/2K) designed to be run on a server, not on a desktop.
You can download an activex control from MS called tsac that allows you to run a terminal services session in a webpage on basically any windows pc, or you can always install teh terminal services client. it _doesn't_ require another WinXP machine.
Glyphosate is in all the major weedkiller brands.

Caveat: does not require Hyper-V
So... Facebook has an App that lets you send short 140 character messages across the Internet by data instead of by SMS..... aka... Twitter.
I evaluated Live Backup from Atempo a year or so ago (http://www.atempo.com/products/liveBackup/default .asp)
Was pretty good, but my major concern was the massive file storage requirement for the backed up data.
If it wasn't for the videos and the apparent "Demo" I'd call vapourware.
I've been waiting for this game for more than a year now, given it was supposed to be a 360 launch title as I understand it.
DEC was aquired by Compaq, not Intel.
SiN is a blood-soaked five hour jaunt
Almost, but not quite like SiN!
No no, the rules are fine... just not the thing the rules refer to.
Somebody forgot the first (and the second) rule!!!
In fact if you follow the link to the sourceforge project page "This Project Has Not Released Any Files" so it could be running anything!

Nice.

Ok, errors I can accept might occur... but downloading a non-infected file which suddenly develops a virus?

So.. as its virtual, can I change the layout and add user defined hot-keys and get rid of all those ones I don't use?
Can it emulate the layout of a variety of keyboards - Sparc style or multilanguage?
So who'll be the first person to pirate a moveie on their webcam or stream Ep2 live?
