I would have bought a DellBuntu until I got a look at DX10 gaming which requires Vista.

10... can't do it. But I'm sure David Lettermen won't hesitate to do it soon.
The guy was a treat to watch and he had a huge heart for life, his own his family and for all animals.
He will be missed.

Amen Kaladorn. It's far easier to blame without intelligence into what is actually going on down there, than it is to get hard data from the ground which we won't see for weeks.
I agree, there is plenty of eye candy to go around but the story gives the movie it's momentum. If you like I-Robot your not missing anything here. Definitely dark and bleak, some of the city scape scenes are staright out of Blade Runner. It would be nice to see another sequel, they have a great saga going here I hope they don't f'it up.
Akira (1988) was my introduction to anime. The Robotech (1986) series was second. Ghost in the Shell (1995)was the last. Kudos goes to William Gibson for inspiring the story in Ghost in the Shell.
Ha ha, yeah right. Ehtical use of technology to extend human capabilities. This site if full of crap, ethics has no place here. You think the military is going to "ethically extend" human bodies with technology? The stuff you find on the Internet I'm never surprised.
How the hell do they get a DVD rip of it already? Is that the Japanese version? The qaulity must be totally crap. It's a sin to download and view it for the first time from an inferior source.
If you missed the first one your going to kill yourself if you sit and watch this one. The climax of the film won't really do it for you. The first GITS will let you appreciate this one much more than just seeing GITS 2 alone would.
Not true, exactly.
Yes it is true that GITS was the inspiration for the Matrix movies, but I would rather not see another Keanu film eat away at another cyber punk film (think Johnny Nemonic) and instead have people who are talented (like directors, actors) to do a decent live action version of GITS.
Can't wait to see it. I understand there is a live action version of GITS1 on the table, James Cameron is supposedly looking into doing Evangelion.
But I'd rather see Peter Jackson do the first GITs.
What you people think?

Reminds me of a line: "My girl can't wrestle but you should see her box!"
At least that's what I read.. The most beautiful of them is named Dejah Thoris. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Carter_of_Mars_( film)

What the hell don't they have a meal in a pill? Meat and Potatoes? That should be banned anywhere beyond 50 miles from the ground.
