And yet, ive not seen any evidence the magic leap HARDWARE is not capable of everything they promised. for everything else the openxr spec isnt even final yet.
The difference is, only the best quality commercial support can survive on linux, so all those bits of software that don't care about the users know they have no chance.
I remember the days when macromedia dreamweaver and flash was the only way to make websites. For example.
Not sure i agree. Its great that we will soon be able to buy any of the prebuilt systems without ever having to pay the microsoft tax. options currently are limited to bulding your own system or the much much smaller range of systems available without an os.
probably not. They refused to support java on mobile, and lost virtually all their market share in a decade. refusing to support vulkan just means they get shut out of the Vr wave.
Apple isn't dying, its dead already, just gonna take a bit longer for Goldman Sachs to unwind their positions.
I take it you havent bought a new high end graphics card recently. new cards can service 8k at 60fps. unlike cpus there been huge leaps in gpus in recent years.
I dont think anything beats the "undefined is not a function" error message. took me years to get past the "well duh, but stating the obvious doesnt help me" reaction and realise its actually quite sensible. (javascript)
hmm, not sure i agree with that. python can do many powerful and complex things you never could with a shell script. some heavy lifting AI and other data analytics spring to mind.
The problem is more one of suitablity to team development and long term maintenance.
python is awesome for short simplistic programs written by wet behind the ears kids who think they know it all. its gentle on their ego, and papers over their common mistakes and lack of knowledge. For anything serious you wouldn't trust to a kid it's the last choice.
And that will NEVER happen. because you go back to zero miles with every software update.

Nah, they only put people who care about privacy in prison in her majesties colonies. The rapists get given jobs in the schools and hospitals.
Those are keyboard monkeys not sysadmins.
Except those last ten years have been completely and utterly debunked.

and macos is just a 20 year old version of linux. which leaves linux and bsd.
Seems mega corp decided its time to call linus s bluff.
Thats. Just. Sad.
Used to be, we cared about memory, picture and sound quality, performance.
Now its how many notches should it have?
how is this funny?

vr isnt just about gaming, in fact there is probably more "professional" in vr than games.
Its windows only. So no chance.
They'll just pay some more Harvard professors to blame it on black colored socks.

you can even run a vr headset at 8k now.
and even a clinton presidency where she forces all white males to service her crab infested pussy would be better than a streaming games console.
in all recent compilers
C is a subset of C++.
C++ is not a subset of C
So when you write your C programs you are only using a subset of the language available to you.
At no point is C++ compiled by a compiler that can only compile C.
I take that back, the worst error message is and always will be "keyboard error, press F1 to continue"

I thnk you mean C is now written in C++

that seems to imply you believe the nsa and Micro$oft hasn't been pwned by every major cybercrime group in the world?
newsflash, this is 2018 and former us republics cyber security is a total joke.
