    Does php5 play nice with the threaded MPM in apache2? It would be nice to actually be able to implement real database pooling in php.

    That's the whole deal. Music is objective. However, I would say that Radiohead does not produce canned music -- the whole album is not for the sake of 1 song.

    I don't think I am alone in saying this. By your reasoning, there are no good music artists. You like what you like.

    mine has no warning, and no drm as far as I can tell. None of their disks (ever, as far as I can tell from my collection) have ever had any sort of DRM.

    I wouldn't call Radiohead a "big crap artist".

    They have some of the most loyal fans out there. If Hail to the Thief had been on the iTunes Music Store, I would have bought it there. It's not, so I ended up going to best buy to pick it up.

    Canopy owns 5.8% of trolltech.

    Not ownership.

    Safari has an emulation layer to make signals and slots work with khtml. I wouldn't say it is based on Trolltech's Qt.

    And even if Canopy goes nuts, there is the Trolltech/KDE agreement. Nobody can do anything about that.

    I think there is an akami server down the street from me or something, because the downloads are nearly instantaneous.

    I actually thought that it did not work when I clicked, because it happend so fast!

    During the vietnam war, the VC and US had different color tracer bullets. The US troops would sometimes confuse the VC fighters by firing confiscated guns into the jungle. The VC fighters would think they were firing on their own people.

    Where my dad worked, they were looking into getting some stamping machinery from a chinese production facility.

    So, their American counterpart sent a salesman over.. and he was describing the machinery, showing them the manual. He got to the point where everyone noticed something funny in the manual; This piece of machinery had a "hydraulic sheep". The salesman explained that they meant "hydraulic ram"..

    They went with someone else. :-)

    A passenger is also an extra pair of eyes and ears. If you have to put the conversation on hold, they will know why.

    The synthetic voice over a cell phone is nowhere near as natural or easy to understand than a real voice.

    I don't know about you, but my voice doesn't get choppy when I'm a little far from the cell tower.

    www.gamepc.com is great. I've never seen a place where you can order a laptop chassis if you want to.

    They'll also tell you if you do something stupid, like try to order a motherboard and a cpu that won't work together, etc..
