You're reading a lot of intention into what is essentially, a seldom-used punctuation, and a capital letter there. That's like one step closer to insanity than the rest of us.

Windows 95 Turns 15

It would have been interesting if Windows continued using DOS as a bootloader, upgrading DOS to support 32, 64 bit, TCP/IP natively, NTFS and other improvements as they came along. However it would make Windows in itself, a separate product, one that could be replaced with any other GUI, and opening a market that Microsoft would rather keep closed. Ah well. Google relies on security through obscurity - they obscure the way in which pages are ranked to protect themselves against competitors, and users against SEOs.Granted that it doesn't prevent people from trying (and occasionally succeeding) in pushing up their results though.
The thing that protects fashion is... Trademark. Since the branding and logo are such an important part of the product, and displayed prominently too, you could literally make an exact copy without the branding and logo, and nobody would want to buy it.
The thing I'm thinking is, if there was a remote root hole that did not enable people to jailbreak their phones, would Apple have moved so fast to fix it? Also, amazingly, their idea of a patch is a complete new firmware release - it sits at 380mb for the 3GS and 590mb for the iphone 4. Considering the amount of downloading that happens every time there is a patch, and the popularity of the phones, a regular release cycle could possible chew up a whole lot of internet out there.
What was that old adage? Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics. Even when you win, you're still retarded. Expanding on that, arguing about digg on slashdot is like making posters of running in the special olympics. Even when everyone reads it, you're still wasting your time. Then there's the joke about moderating an argument about digg on slashdot, or arguing about how moderation works on an argument about digg on slashdot. I'm still waiting for a kick so that I can wake up and return to reality, but the damn song isn't playing yet.
You'd need to be a bit more specific on the DVI support, namely that it only implements DVI-D. This is because I know people who have considered converting their VGA signals to HDMI through the use of cable adapters and a DVI cable. (FYI an ADC is required for such things).
Thing is, a app can have a legitimate use of a certain function, and an additional malicious use of it. Without code review, you're only going to get a single security prompt, which you would allow of course, that's what you wanted your app to do for you.
What you are talking about, of course, is an anti-satellite weapon. Do you foresee any problems with any nation possessing this technology and openly showing it works?
If the government was onto you, then you're the winner, you get to live and learn. If the government had no clue as to your existence, then you're the loser, as your paranoia and blood pressure go up, you have no idea how they found you out, and hence you're uncertain what to do next.
Your friend is a gay apple fanboy that goes on Chatroulette, and he enjoys seeing penises on the internet, never mind that he can recognize one immediately by the shape, color or size.
Windows 7 as released through OEMs for business grade computers would typically be the 32-bit version, and down here at least, the business machines come pre-installed as XP SP3, with the end user having to install Windows 7 manually from the DVD. If the 64-bit version is dominant, then it must mean that most organizations are indeed sticking with XP.
Last i checked it is the year 2010 now. What on earth have these guys been doing with your money? They're not improving the connections or anything, just sucking up the dollars...

Do you mean to say that there is a way of making a thing unpatentable - by making the USPTO sick and fed up? There's hope for us yet then.
Wonder if it is possible to design a tire that changes its rolling resistance according to the speed with which it is rotating.

That's a pretty interesting hit-counter on that page... BTW this is in idle? Why?
If you don't know, say you don't know. It's called integrity, and it should apply no matter how much you make an hour.

Class action suit? How naive. Someone should do a study on how well it generally works out for the consumer, the company, and the lawyers.

A reasonable employer would allow deliveries to your place of work though.
Why do you have to be so mean about it?
