Now if the French National Police could only talk to the French Air Force, and French Navy, maybe their planes could take off, and their subs could avoid hitting British subs! Long live Linux and Open Source Software! And they get their favorite games as well! And it all just works!!! Go Figure!
Considering that both countries Military forces, have been bitten recently by Windows Malware, you HAVE to wonder if their navigational computers are running Mickey$oft O/S!;^) And if so WHY???
Of course, neither country would admit that M$ O/S / Software was involved or to making such a stupid decision as to ever let M$ on to ANY Military vessel in the first place!
I should send a Debian Lenny DVD to both Navys!;^)
OpenOffice.org is freely available from OpenOffice.org with versions for the Mac and for Linux, as well as for Windows, so there is no reason to be shelling out money to Mickey$oft! I myself, will refuse to purchase or use anything, either hardware, or software that forces me to pay, and pay, and pay to anyone in Redmond WA!!!
The time has come for everyone to turn Mickey$oft into the true"Alternative" O/S, and to make Linux the Mainstream O/S!!!
I would be very happy to follow up with Dell at no charge for a service person serving in Afganistan protecting our freedoms!
This is not a joke, I am very serious.
Thank you!
Rick
A set of Debian installation DVD's and an installation CD of OpenOffice.org, so he can see the worlds computing future! I think he has seen the writing on the wall, and is jumping ship.
Ironicly, he has done more to promote Linux, Open Source, and "Free" Software than anyone.
I don't see much change in the way Mickey$oft will do business in the future. They have never learned from their mistakes!
I can't take ANY story seriously today! I have been bitten too many times to believe ANYTHING posted today! ;^)
Happy April Fools Day to everyone!

C in this case means Character, not Code. See one definition.
I have never seen the word Code used in an English definition.

Let's see...

60 secs x 60 minutes x 24 hours = 86400 seconds per day
2983742 clicks / 86400 secs per day = 34.534050926 clicks per second!!!
Your'e telling me that you have to use the Escape Key THAT MUCH in a 24 hour period???
I'm Impressed!!!
Guess I'll stick to emacs!
