Excel is about the only program I have ever cared for that MS makes...this could be a good thing since open office isn't that good of an alternative for Excel quite yet.
I am waiting for someone else to go to court with spyware companies on destroying private property and win. Then my company will follow, we have been waiting for someone to start a lawsuit against them and win so we can do the same. My employers would more than likely jump at an opportunity to get back valuable time and money we have wasted on this problem. If just one lawsuit is won, then there will probably be many more to follow. They are advertising on people's private property and should not be allowed to continue. The american people get raped again...
All you ever do chrismcdirty is talk about how expensive consoles are and how great and cheap gamecube is. If your so worried about price and controller size then you need to save 400 dollars and get yourself a nice gaming pc. Consoles are gay as fuck compared to what you can do with a computer.
You can even buy gamepads for them too! When your computer gets outdated, simply sell it to some idiot such as yourself and go buy a brand new one. If I did pick and console it would have to be Sony, they have the most pc compatible system and have the most game which is all that matters in console gaming. I for one can say that spyware companies have cost our company at least 200+ hours of my time of un-installing them and running ad-aware, which still doesn't even get rid of all of them. We ran ad-aware on a computer the other day and found 560 something pieces of spyware, now how come we cannot sue these companies for costing others time and money? We do the same thing if somebody defaces property, we make them pay for it so we don't have to waste our time and money on it. I am just waiting for someone to sue these companies, my bosses are both lawyers and I will be pressing them to do the same if someone else does it to show that it can be done!
Anyone that thinks Sony is dying is an ignorant son of a bitch. Sony blew the doors off of everyone with the first playstation, and I used to prefer N64 over Sony. They had so many game titles that you couldn't keep up with all of them. Let me tell you, Sony will be the LAST one to go out of business. They are stronger now than they have ever been, even if PSX completely fails in Europe, Japan and North America, they still have the highest selling console on the market right now. Now I am not going to get into this yelling match of which console has better graphics or which one plays with your balls the best while you are playing it.

Xbox is nothing more than MS's attempt to grab another computer market and monopolize it, which is exactly why they are going to fail. Have you ever used Windows 98? Better yet, have you ever tried to get support for Windows 98? Hope not, because it doesn't exist! Same applies to older versions of office, they will just tell you to buy the new one for $200. The worst part about xbox is that Microsoft is behind it, which is a company natorious for charging way too much for a product then two or three years down the line they quit offering support for it.

Yeah, I have bought many cds from people that make thier own music and release the cd themselves. That is the way it should be done...like the RIAA was before they were the RIAA. It seem like the second a company becomes a huge corporation/organization they forget about the people buying thier products and focus more on the money(Microsoft, McDonald's, Walmart). These are all companies that started as nice little corner stores (except MS who came from the seventh layer of hell) and became huge companies. That is why we are seeing such a huge explosion in small business now, I work for a small web design company and we have hired probably 5 new employees a year for the past 5 years. We are living in a very exciting time, and I cannot wait to see the outcome.
Well well, looks like the gaming industry is hurting from people copying media and sharing it. We should be seeing laws some day soon, since whenever the rich start to loose their money they start bribing politicians. Let's just hope they realize sooner than the RIAA did that you'll never get rid of people sharing stuff. Sharing is the first step towards peace! Alright...so it is an excuse, so what!

Before lars from metalica started to speak out against downloading, I havent bought a cd since and I wont until cds cost 5-10 bucks for one. They need to realize that all they're doing by bitching about it is making people buy even less. Boycott the RIAA! Whos is with me?
