I dont much see myself as a football fan overall and especily an NFL fan. I do like NCAA football cuz they put on a better show then the money hungry NFL.
I do like football video games alot though but Madden 2006 is really lacking from last year and even this years NCAA football (It usuely is the other way around with NCAA lagging behind NFL video games).
That QB Vision thing is what really hurts it for me. It is sapposed to make the game more relistic but I play 2 player and never aganst the computer and all QB vision does is tell yer opponent exactly where the ball is going and the result for was as interception after interception and the game eventualy just turned into a running game so somone could score.
I'll stick with NCAA '06 and good old classic Tecmo Bowl on the NES (A true fun football video game).

Most advanced Quake II port at the monet. They are currently giving the game a full overhual with high res textures and new models plus full real time lighting.
the dropped the current best consumer level CPU on the market for one that everyone else is trying to get away from. Now they are on a level playing ground with MS but they STILL will not compete with MS. Now your choise is a PC with ALOT of customization options and a decent operating system or a PC with almost no room for opgrades but with a better operating system. While they do still have the better os they have abandoned the hardware edge and for they they can suck my nuts and I'm sticking with an AM/Windows PC.
Apple is dead.
The G5 case is a joke. That damn thing not only limits you with only 2 internal drive bays it also dose not allow you to have a second optical drive or anything else. the front panel is all bare and boring.
The last generation G4 case was a work of art.
the need to do it so the 2 LCD screens are right next to each other with no gap between them so you can get a seamless screen. Then they need to boost the res of each panel to 1920x1440 (3840x1440 combined) and increase the size of the panels to atleast 25 inches or larger.
After they do that they need to make the responce time super fast to get rid of the blurs and offer a zero dead pixle return policy.
But I would rather see this done on a screen type that has variable resolutions rather then a fixed resolution cuz LCD just sucks no mater what.
Yea it's not very likely with current Macs on the market. But try not to think about it on terms of what Macs are today. Try and think about it on what Macs could do if Apple takes note of the soon to be large game developer pool with alot of experience with PPC architecture. If a machine is ever going to make the final convergance and merge computing/games/media into a single unit and place it in the living room it's damn well going to be built by Apple. Some might see Apple building a gaming class Mac a bit of a risk for the company, and it is a risk. But if they managed to get it to work not only would it realy take a bite out of PC gaming it would pretty well render the consoles obsolite as well. I think apple would be pretty foolish not to atleast concider doing it.
I dont much mind if google is trying to be another yahoo as long as they follow yahoos lead and create search.google.com.
search.yahoo.com is a none bloated search only version of yahoo for those that never saw it.
I suspect the PS3 specs will be hard to describe. The base specs will proly be something pretty much close to the xbox360 (the same basic multicore POWER based CPU) but the nature of the CELL is going to make it hard to spit out a real world performance value on paper.
Being sony though they will be liberal about it rather then conservative and will spit out some huge number they know damn well the system will never hit in real world use:)
Really I have got less then 10 in the past 4 years of using XP. Do the rest of you readers still get them all the time or is the BSOD just some old issue people refuse to let go even tohugh it's all but dead?
...I'll ditch Windows for a MAC. And I think that days coming soon, cuz there is alot of little hints floating around that when you add them up, you get the conclusion that Apple, IBM, and Sony have something up there sleeves.
Ideas floated in the article include a unified DVD arch which could use "Blu-ray's disc structure and HD DVD software technology" (Sony's idea) or "HD DVD disc structure and employing Sony's multi-layer data-recording technology" (Toshiba's idea)"
I have installed SuSE 9.3 and yea alot of stuff has been updated, fixed, and improved. The little changes they made to the istaller are great, but due to the software patent problems with all the linux media players right now, SuSE 9.3 is sevearly crippled. It chips with almost no media support out of the box and installes a crippled version of the xine media player and I havent been able to get totem to play anything at all so far. It also ships with a known buggy version of GCC that Mplayer has blacklisted so compiling Mplayer is a pain. I have got Xine working 100%, Totem is still dead and Mplayer has yet to compile correct.
Posting as anonymous pussy dosen't help you any ya know.

I hope it causes a shift of games from the PC over to the Mac due to the similar architecture.
Someone do the "Top 100 useless, redundant, and lame top 100 lists" list

really... BitTorrent is definitly the means of wide spread distribution of episode III but it sure as hell isn't the cause for the leak.
slashdots big news source seems to be every other site on the internet. Always a day or more late.
