What I found most distressing was an active contempt for people oriented towards manual trades vs academic performance. The world can't be made up 100% of lawyers and doctors damnit!
I have the opposite. My old high school has gone to 'vocational education' and almost disowned anyone who went on to get a degree. That's not what we do here.
We did that for years. We had an Exchange Server sitting behind a debian relay running spamassassin and clamav. We still had virus checkers on the Exchange box but they didn't get a lot of work.
Because it's not expensive for schools. MS gives big discounts to education. I've seen a school get a complete Exchange server for a couple of hundred bucks.
Combine this with MS being the safe choice and more available support and you have lock-in.
You'd think that was idiot proof. It wasn't. We saw all kinds of stupid ways for people to put them back. It was also dick-head bait.
The worst case was when we helped someone else get her dollar back and then had to make a 3d sculpture to get ours. I can't remember what the previous moron did.
The system got pulled and the trolley boys were happy. The only system I currently see in Perth is the system in TFA.
You need to think in 3 dimensions. We had these for a while. Some knob-end managed to put one back with another one wedged in between. A nice old lady couldn't get her coin back. We got it back and sent her on her way. We then built a 3d sculpture to get our own dollar back. I can't remember the exact topology but it had two layers. What can I say, we were bored.
This system was removed not long after. The same place now has the boots. You can tell the boundary from the line of trolleys just past it. People had to see how it worked, I guess.
Most immobilisers here are ignition/fuel pump/whatever locks. They are auto-activating. You have to deactivate them to start the engine. There's not a lot of opportunity for mischief.
We did, but they broke out and stole cars to get home. They're good kids though. They dump the vehicle on someone else's lawn to keep their mums happy.
I thought it was only required for transfer or new vehicles, not for current licenses.
Actually, to quote the DPI:
From July 1st 1999 it is compulsory to fit a Government approved immobiliser when you apply to register or transfer a vehicle. It is the buyer's responsibility (not the seller's) to ensure that this is done, otherwise the vehicle registration or transfer will not occur.
The cordless gyro mice are good for presentations. You can present without having to lean on a desk. Presentations should be short and mouse use is limited. The 20m range didn't hurt either.
The only problem we had was people walking off with the thing or leaving it in obscure places.
Others have pretty much covered the definition of troll. I was pointing more to the use of Sock Puppets. The term Throw-away or disposable account might have been more accurate. These can be just as annoying to the people who don't want to read AC comments but will show up as logged-in users.

There were 5 for NT 3.51
Try unplugging your network cable. Does an nmap scan still show exactly what an attacker would see?
And to clarify, do you claim that a packet from this machine to this machine is sent out on the wire? That would be inefficient routing.
Woosh. You missed the irony.
I've read the book. It's a very good book. I've seen the film supposedly based on the book.
Starship Troopers?
Anyone want to bet what the last move in the final fight will be.
For some reason I always liked the vehicle force better. Planet Drool were a more competent enemy than Doom.
I was home one afternoon and caught the Power Rangers. I swear they were using Volton toys in that show. It sure looked like it.

MOV HerStuff, YourPlace
Nah, they should nationalize Microsoft. That would fix the deficit.
Exactly. You may have to speak 'manager' to make your point and dollars talk.
For this exercise you can build a nice large cost for MS software and the other guy has to show benefits to offset this.
You might want to check your geography. To help you understand find photos, preferably nude, of Helen Clark and John Howard. Compare and contrast.
Yeah, but we don't get Thursday's Daily Show until Monday in Oz, so they're ahead for us.

Every time I saw UMD movies, they were more expensive than the DVD version. This probably hurt sales of the PSP as well.
It's typical Sony. Make your own format and charge extra for it. They never learn.
To add to this, what's the driving time between Redmond and Vancouver?
More important, they're in the same time zone. That's worth a lot.

But, you're right. So what?
So, government is complex, and the FCC is the imaginary part.

Yeah, and you've made the text anonymous too. It's like it's in Hebrew or something.
(And now I know what right-to-left text looks like in Firefox. Cool.)
To add to the other comment, what name is on the whois for ouch.co.il? Rhetorical, I don't need to know.
