I log onto my web site with Firefox and... scrape the screen and put the display into a text editor...
Although I use MS Money and prefer to download OFX files directly, I've had to screen scrape one of my investment accounts for about 3 years now. I used to call them up every few months to request that they add a download function, but I gave up after they accused me of hacking their site by scraping it.
What really amazes me is how many people don't care. This is a company sponsored retirement account, so about 200 other people where I work are still relying on quarterly paper statements. But when I offered to share my process with anyone who wanted it, I had exactly ZERO takers.
That's not what he said at all. He said that someone who advocates infringing copyrights held by the MPAA et al has no right to complain if someone else infringes the copyright of something licensed under the GPL.
And he's 100% right.
Did you buy the lens somewhere else, or did you just decide to wait until later to bid on it?
Makes a big difference to whether the business was actually lost or not.
Worse, ATMs in popular locations in Canada have been replaced with "White label ATMs"... you know how they said "banks don't charge their own customers to use a machine?" well... the banks realized that they could charge their own customers if they opened a daughter corporation to create ATM machines under a different brand and name, then charge "convenience fees" depending on the location of the ATM.
Actually, the driver here is the location owner. The ATM owner pays rent for the space. White label machine operators are willing to pay more rent, precisely because they rape their "customers" harder. (It's a lot like a porn dialler, really.)
Ever notice that most stores where those machines are found also don't take Interac payments directly?
With all the service charges, I pay:
* $1 for each withdrawal past 2 per month
* $1.50 for interbranch banking (half goes to my bank, half to the other bank)
* $1-$3.50 "convenience" fee.
I bank at PC Financial, and refuse to use any ATM other than PCF/CIBC. I haven't paid a dime in bank fees since 2000.
Who said he was fired? Air Canada bought out Canadian Airlines in 2000. The tickets were part of the severance package offered to all of the employees who were subsequently downsized.
Then why does my GSM phone roam from my GSM 850 home carrier (Rogers in Canada) seamlessly into T-Mobile and/or AT&T Wireless coverage in the US?
I work for Siemens - we make GSM phones. Trust me - ALL GSM in North America uses the same two bands.
My best guess is that T-Mobile, being a German company, is referring to it as 900 because of some European pollution of their marketing material.
- No 802.1x machine certificate, no access to the lan.
- No machine account in Active Directory, no 802.1x machine certificate.
- No company image, no machine account in Active Directory.
Works pretty well here.I would say all of the ones who registered with Apple, for starters.
Sort of makes me question my policy of never registering anything I buy. OTOH, ISTR that the iPod setup practically forced me to register.
b) be motivated to fill out a form and address an envelope.
Ummm, the ones who think that their time to do so is worth less than that $25?

Well, he's suggesting buying a monitor, not using a TV. But I get the mounting the guts out of harm's way idea.
If you pair it with a monitor and mouse, wouldn't you be farther ahead to just buy an iMac in the first place?

And of course you installed AdAware AFTER they purchased a license, since it's free only for personal use. Right?
I'm in Canada as well. I do have a cookie for the site though, so I guess I'm registered. My bad.
WTF? The posted link didn't require any registration.
OK, so you ran the diagnostics on day 2.
But you only downloaded the manual on day 15.
(how do you think I knew how to access the diags?!)
I give up. How? :)
You work for a German company with ~450,000 employees, by any chance?

Not true. T-Mobile uses GSM 850 in the US.
