Ok, I'll concede that the definition is poor. However, if the definition is poor, the original poster really shouldn't have flatly rejected the use of the term "flash mob" to describe this situation. Again, I concede that it might not be news worthy, however it was not inaccurate.

No, there is nothing sudden about a Dodgers game a university commencement, a church service, or an Audubon outing. These things are planned out months, if not a year in advance. Mob, yes. Flash mob, no. When this thing was in fashion, times of notice were measured in hours.

Y'know, there are tons and tons of people out there doing adult oriented films. And there are fewer and fewer films out there I'd take a small child to (were talking 8 to 11 here) I applaud Pixar and yes, Disney for puting out films that I can take a child to, and yet still enjoy. Go get your own CG Studio!

I guess I am risking my karma that this might be modded of topic, but doesn't the requirement for a permit to engage in a sub-orbital flight set a bad precedent as far as the politicalization of space goes. I mean, who owns earth orbit? How far up does the United States go before you enter "International Space"? We have a flag on the moon, does that mean a private company couldn't fund and develop a moon base? Are we going to have to have another "Age of Conquest" to divy up the moon, or is globalization a necessity for space colinization? I just find the whole thing so facinating.

What if I want my email to be kept private, but through ignorance or lack of options, I email several people with Gmail accounts? My messages to these individuals are being scaned and archived without my consent. That may not seem like to much to you, but it scares me. It sets up a scenario where my email could be seized as a public database, all while, I had an expectation of privacy. Sound far fetched? How so? Google has explicitly stated that deletion of email from your account does not guaranty deletion from their servers
