She drove around in the taxi giving people rides or the fire truck/ambulence helping people...

When she watched me play it she kept telling me "No don't shoot the people!!! Don't drive on the sidewalk!!! You're not supposed to be the bad guy!!"

Maybe this can be taken as one of the "its a tool and depends on how you use it" arguements?

My main point is that you don't really _need_ to have a swap file anymore with ram prices at what they are... unless you are doing heavy, heavy memory intensive tasks, but if you are you would want more memory rather than swap anyway since memory is sooo much faster...

Remember that Swap was first used because RAM was SOOO expensive, it just made sense at a cost per MB to use hard disk space when low on ram.. nowadays it really doesn't make sense anymore...

I have 1 gig in my current rig and completely turned off the swap partition, in the last year of usage with heavy multitasking i haven't even needed it.

With Ram prices as low as they are currently your just better off going with 1-2 gigs of ram rather than waste disk space or buying a second disk...

If you get subpoenaed just submit to the judge that yes you did download but you own a license for every song you downloaded so you didn't break the law.

Then find out what songs they list in their brief against you and go buy it in legit form, like singles, cd, etc...

That way when you have to prove that you have the license for the copyright you will have it and save yourself about $735 per song (since the minimum is a $750 fine per song copyright violation).

Seems a lot beter than giving the bloodsucking RIAA lawyers your money plus tying up their time in court making it futile to continue on suing people en-mass because of the cost of litigation (if everyone who was subpoenaed did this).
