Maybe it is about time you switched servers? Most servers play more than just the orignal maps. I would suggest some examples but I realized that would be pointless because if we didn't share the same locale you would probably get terrible pings. Just look around a little. The good servers are out there.
Don't be so naive. The rest of us 'superior minds' who don't consider ourselves to be herded by such means are all hooked by slashdot. Of course, slashdot usually takes the better side on most topics... or is that just our blindness making us thin - Augghhhh... forgot... my... tinfo...
I really hope you meant that as a joke because it sure was funny. If things happened the way you suggest, it would amazing that Microsoft is still in business (and countless other companies that did something thing wrong and happened to piss us off for five minutes).
Well, Outlook is another security issue in itself isn't it? That would be the second piece of software that I would replace if I was changing software. With that in mind, I know that a majority of companies seem to be deadlocked into it because of its other somewhat appealing features, and if this was the case I would see what I could do about having the mail-server filter out HTML, and just do everything in plain text.
That's hardly an answer to the question that was being asked. Either answer the question or say nothing at all. Spewing masked zealotry doesn't help the problem at all. Either answer the question or don't say anything at all
That being said, after that, I don't have the answer either... Ahhh, the pleasure gained from hypocracy is immeasurable.
That's not the point.
No one wants to have to go out and buy an 8 button mouse just so they can have the newly patented 'double-click' functionality in a single click. And how many operating systems does said 'double-click' function on the "scroll-wheel clicky" work on?
A method and system are provided for extending the functionality of application buttons on a limited resource computing device.
Well, I don't know about any of you but I certinaly don't have an unlimited resource computing device. Unless my logic is terrible (which it very well may be) but I'm pretty sure that every computing device is 'limited'. Or maybe it is just my legaleese that isn't quite up to par, since we all know that logic and legal affairs have next to nothing to do with each other.
Does this mean that the button on the front of my case that I hold in for 6 seconds to do a hard power reset (as opposed to a soft one/APM call if I just press it) is also subject to this patent? How far can this possibly extend? What kind of interface doesn't use a button with some sort of timing involved?
However, unlike ricing a car, overclocking actually does make your computer faster... assuming you can stand the heat, and the increase in power usage, and quite possibly the instability (if it isn't done properly).

Ahahahaha!!

I doubt it. Their aim is probably around the same as yours. And they would win because you're a lamer and they're not.
I understand the point you are trying to make, but a multifile search and replace would probably do the trick.
exaggerate
Albeit in a newer engine, I am one of those people. It is great fun. I am looking forward to DooMIII co-op (I really hope it has co-op!).
Wow, I'm going to bookmark that page and keep it on my belt of virtual hand grenades to chuck at all the forum morons I come across. Thanks so much! :D

I am a double click you insensitive clod!
You were right about that part.

According to the patent:
A method and system are provided for extending the functionality of application buttons on a limited resource computing device.

Am I the only one who thinks there is something wrong with this naming scheme?

The average consumer don't even know how many bits its CPU has.
And even if they did, they probably wouldn't really understand the significance. ("64 is double 32 so it is twice as fast right??")
But human's are perfect.
*sigh*
Apparently not.
Anything I give it just times out...
Does this mean that XMMS ripped off Winamp?
But maybe I'm not running a browser... what about when I'm playing online games or using ssh?
