    Learn assembly programming. It will teach you inner workings of a computer and how higher level languages get down to the lowest levels. You will be able to appreciate computers a lot more than just by coding java.

    It starts with naked people, who are incredibly dangerous and an affront to any morally upstanding U.S. citizen such as myself. Next we ban anything about drugs that isn't inline with our current policy. Then we ban violence. Then we ban info on anything the state deems illegal or subversive. Then we ban known dissidents from speaking in a non approved forum. Then we are safe.

    Haha... I am waiting for them to actually ban evolution, not the theory but the phenomenon. That law would have to be intelligently designed.

    OpenOffice is freely downloadable, and does everything almost anyone needs in an office suite.

    As a worker in the finance industry I have to disagree with you there. OpenOffice does not do everything. There is nothing that beats Microsoft Excel in the market today. That is the only tool that is the most useful part of Office and hasn't been replicated successfully to be useful enough. Think complex Excel macros, VBA code, binary excel-add-ins etc. Agreed we all love freedom in software, but most of the times, even if in my small company I want to replace Microsoft Office, I cannot because of Excel. This is where Microsoft's biggest market is.
