    VOIP wont do any damage to tradtional telephone

    the only thread, which is taking over, is cellphone.

    how many ppl have discarded the home phoneline since their family members all have a cellphone now? I discarded mine over 2 years ago.

    not to mention the new 3G or 4G tech which allows you to access internet at broadband speed through telephone. I also use cable modem instead of DSL for internet.

    I totally agree with you, but sadly, those kids who went into college or community school who only has Java knowledge have been brainwashed with those java OOP books, which claim that people need to FORGOT WHAT THEY KNOW ABOUT C and only write stuff in OO... that's just sad, I see tons of useless refactoring of code and over engineered architure with NOT FUNCTIONG result.

    the ultimate solution is friendship. there are many joint ventures between USA, Russia and China now. there will be less chance for any of those countries to shoot down "our" satellites.

    yes, I read about anti-satellite weapon almost 20 years ago.

    USA has more spy satellites than any other countries, USA spy airplane invades other countries most often

    instead of building more weapons, hurting each other's feeling more, how about building friendship, help each other to profit and develope, so that other countries hate USA less thus there's less need for more weapon?

    when the cart is on top of that roller coaster, it gets my heart, but the rest part of the journal is... maybe a little...

    too plain?

    I was expecting some twist and turns..

    also the track switch stuff looks weird.. it doesnot look very "safe" to me.

    actually from my own experience, it's just the opposite, I've got bothered by quite a few "religious" people who came to my house (christian, mormon, etc) and insisting on talking to me for over 30 minutes, keep telling me I will go to hell if I dont believe in god.

    yeah, hell I go, that's where i'd love to be, if they can stop bothering me.

    how about using the internet? there's a project where people download a software on their machine to help anaylsis data received from outer space.

    if there are many people using that and we measure the FLops for that, it might be the "fastest computer" ever.

    I remember there was a "super computer" built with 5000 absolete PCs a few years back. my company trash several hundred dual CPU server machiens each year as well.

    that sucks. well, my hotmail is full of junk any way. I guess some 3rd party will provide some tool to get email to my pop3 account just like those yahoo 2 pop3 stuff.

    actually I believe a gigantic PC farm should be able to run faster than those "super computers", also a whole lot cheaper.

    in the lib here we have a farm with cheap mac machines running java client/server program for parsers.

    I can't read that allofmp3.com stuff, but I believe the record company is way too greedy to charge so much money for a song.

    I think it's only ethical to pay for something I love. artists should let people download free mp3 whole songs for promotion, then for not so well known ones, maybe 10c per song, and for famous ones, 50c/song.

    as far as I know, those "distant locations" in india are extremely lack of eletricity. thus it makes this satellite not that useful, IMHO.

    btw, there's no normal TV satellite in india to carry additional channel for educational programs so that they have to rely on a new satellite for it?
