I like one of the following explanations:
1. windows has core tied up with GUI, so if there's any problem with GUI, the core will crash as well.
2. linux doesnot have core tied with GUI, so its GUI sucks.
it makes sense to me.
even you dont always need GUI for server management, but IMHO, GUI speeds things up for user and make things easier to use.
my windows xp pro academic edition I bought from university bookstore has problem now, some files seem to be missing. so I called microsoft for replacement, guess what, they want to charge me over $23 + 5 shipping for it since it has only 90 days of warranty. screw it, I am going to use VLK version from now one, while holding this xp pro I bought for $10.
I dont like the first movie version of GIS and I dont like the anime series, tried this one, dont like it either. the graphic is not bad, the story is just old cliche like most anime.
there's test for connect human neural to control machine directly, I think that would be much better solution than something like a NOUSE.
so that people with disability can simply connect themselves to a wireless keyboard/mouse kind of control, and control it directly from his "thought", just as they can move stuff around.
not novell at all, I saw similar thing in office depot clearance 2 years ago, it was less than $100, which uses same software license but you can just simply share the PC, 2 monitors, 2 keyboard, 2 mouses.
it can be hacked by anybody and chinese hackers are not better or worse than anybody.:D

u r right, P2P for search will require a lot effort and result isnt reliable
I think proper cache is enough for web search, as long as you have a farm with tons of memory holding up everything, the search result can be fairly fast.
with so many scifi about mad scientists ruining the world and people lack of "FAITH OF GOD" lead them to destruction, they are more like "EXTREME RIGHT" to me.
I've never heard of this kind of action with rio stuff. probably because rio stuff is not cheap at all?
people have been doing this to the 4G creative muvo stuff and some already did this to the not-officially-released 5G version. the 2nd gen of 4G version has been lock to IDE interface only so they cant use it as CF.
the postgres java driver I used was buggy and it's not to widely supported
so many people still use mysql and it's so horrible. I just hope those forums switch from mysql to this sybase stuff so that I dont see those "mysql connection error" any more
well, I dont see fundemental difference of this book comparing to normal programming books
talk about freeware, why doesnot people PAY to buy a book to learn the language when he can read the tutorials and examples and learn it himself for FREE?
not to mention for guy who claims "mine does", he still cant get 1Gallon of milk for free, in OUR world.

there's no pain for tivo until you want to convert the stuff from your tivo into xvid and put them on a DVDR.

is this similar to KNOPPIX stuff? I used to boot that linux from a CD I burned, which is neat. it says it's good for demo kind of things.

since your laptop is so big, the battery size is a lot larger. but this one is probably the one with longest battery for that size.

they should release the D10 dual layer double side edition instead, so it's only 4DVDs. and you dont have to change disc for the extended edition

well, why pay something that does only one thing? like DVR?
building a raid for 1T is pretty easy, you just need to stack up 4 250G drives with a raid card, it's actually not expensive.
