I have comcast as well and I have had almost no service interruptions *knock on wood*.
However, b/c of my job I sometimes work at home and thanks to new VPN client I had to change my router settings to forward a port to my puter to get on. But before I figured that one out the only solution I got was, "Well just put it outside the DMZ", all I could think was "awesome, why dont I just bash this shit out of my laptop now and save all of the trojan, spyware, adware, etc ppl some time???"... There has to be a better way, and by better I mean an actual solution not just "switch to linux" or "switch to mac"... some of us HAVE to use windows......
Though I do find it funny that in one part of life it can be good that trojans slow you down and in another part it fucking sucks0rs:P
Screw spybot and adaware. I have used those damn things on 4/5 ocmputers and they clear out bout 200 of the 5000 pieces of spy/adware.
Best thing, get ur friends to buy something like mcafee suite for blocking viruses/spam. Copy files off. Format, reinstall. Will take longer than trying those other two but will save u headaches in general in the end.
And God save us all if they find a way to embed that stuff into systemfiles/exes/etc

yeah but think about back to 1997, as little as the average person may/may not know now, they knew magnitudes less back then. I mean, your typical email user back then probably had the following thought process when using email:

I have noticed significantly less of these hoax emails lately and I would say that that shows an increase in the average persons computer IQ and I would hazard to guess in the future these hoaxes will eventually give way completely to other things such as super helpful emails about debt consolidation and P***s enlagement:P
The rest of us, who discovered porn in our teens (and quite a bit younger than 16) got bored with people faking it, and realised that good sex is about intimacy rather than image.
