    I forgot which US president gathered up US citizens and placed them in camps? Which president summarily executed American citizens without benefit of trial? Oh that's right it was FDR, sounds like we already had a dictatorship. As for worrying about FBI investigations, given how well the Justice Dept is handling Operation Gunrunner no one should worry about investigations for a while.

    he upper midwest, northeast, and northwest are all bad places to own diesels. The fuel just doesn't ignite when it's 0 degrees out.
    There's also the fact that heating oil comes off of the same tray in the distillation tower so diesel fuel costs can get crazy high in winter esp. if it is a cold one.

    Wow, you did yourself a disservice. I didn't play the first one or the tales of the Sword Coast, b/c after watching my roommate beat everything w/hasted archers, but the second and the expansion had much richer game play along with mods that have made the AI even more clever.

    How can you make things better when your government is essentially bankrupt, your economy has just fallen off a cliff as you got elected, you are mired in two useless wars and you are beholden to tons of corporate interests that paid to get you elected?
    I don't know create a new entitlemen,t start a third war in the middle east in the name of international cooperation, and stack the NLRB w/ union stooges to reduce the chances of fixing the structural flaws in the economy impeding job growth.

    After much research, I discovered that a CFL has about 4 milligrams of Mercury that is released as a vapor
    I don't think so. Mercury's vapor pressure at 30ÂC is 1Pa. To put that into perspective water's vapor pressure at that temperature is 4247 Pa. So upon breakage that mecury remains in liquid form, not a vapor.

    End result: they disco'd an old model to focus on a new model. For every other car company on the planet this is called "Business As Usual", but apparently when you're Tesla it's a sign of impending collapse.
    Every other car company makes more than one model of car. Now, it is entirely possible that without the halo effect of the roadster people will still be interested in Tesla, and that the interest on the money people have already put down to buy the Sedan will allow Tesla to continue to operate, but when a company that is suppose to make money selling cars stops selling cars, and they(Tesla) aren't sitting on a ton of cash, people begin to think it is the beginning of the end.

    EXCEPT: IT's a fantastic racing fuel. I have 10 friends that are in racing and all of them have modified their cars to use ethanol instead of racing gas. IT's cheaper and they are getting MORE power from it One friend has went from 12.2 on the quarter mile to 11.9 just by changing fuel. Plus they can afford to race at $3.29 a gallon instead of $6.89 a gallon.
    I assume your friend has changed the tune of their engine to take advantage of the higher octane rating, since thermodynamics is thermodynamics and per mass the ethanol isn't providing more power, but you can run higher compression w/ E85.

    Since the Leaf has a highway speeds range of closer to 50 miles, and a propely tuned turbo diesel can get that in 1 gallon of gas, it is supremely possible that previous poster could be running biodiesel and actually be more environmentally sustainable then you and your smug ass. And if it isn't economically sustainable, unless the previous poster is a bank or a local govt, they'll change their behavior. But you will probably still be a douche.

    Illegal Immigrant in my mind says that the person is in the country illegally and plans to stay. An "Illegal" sounds like the person illegally exists. "Anchor babies" sounds like the people had children in the country for the express intent of using immigration policy to preserve their own residence. It's without love for the child.
    No, Illegal is a shortening of illegal alien or illegal immigrant, and thanks to the newspeak of the left, will probably be removed for the more neutral undocumented immigrant, like the person crossing the border left their documentation in their other pants or country of origin. As for anchor baby it is unfortunately accurate and distasteful, but hey why else would pregnant ladies sneak into the US, if not to abuse the birth right citizenship, and force the US govt into either breaking up families or allowing a de facto flouting of its laws and sovereignty.

    Most if not all nuke plants are not efficiently in terms of thermodynamics that is the carnot cycle as opposed to modern coal plants. I think modern electric plants use steam to extract more electricity. Nuke plants just boil water which is less efficient. The only reason that nuke plants are built this way is because uranium is cheap.
    Wow, just wow, being reading the Time cubeagain? Hint, steam is boiled water.
