    i actually agree with creating a unified Linux desktop. If we could combine all of the different distro's technologies, think of how much closer to Linux on Joe's desktop we could be. There ARE too many choices, and not alot of average-user friendly docs to go with. Users are daunted by all that technical data and sooooo much choice. Sure, choice is A Good Thing(tm), but way too much choice can scare people. If they had one unified desktop out, Joe could be pointed to it.

    according to the article, its not a chipset, but an actual processor bound for portable media players.....the summary makes it sound like a chipset for PCs and that you still need a pc to transfer the stuff...

    i believe they sell the extra upload in things such as webhosting and services...they would have to charge alot per month to make it up selling it off to residential customers

    electrons through copper move very slowly, nowhere near as fast as sound though a fluid. and electrons never travel at the speed of light, only light can travel that fast iirc

    I've weightlifted occasionally to try to get some upper body strength, but I've never heard of weightlifting as a weight-loss technique. Fat -> muscle, sure, but you aren't going to lose weight.

    When you build muscle, your using more energy doing stuff. for example if you had 1lbs of muscle burning fat, and now you have 1.3lbs burning fat, your going to burn more. you will lose weight quicker (with proper exercise)

    can we just stfu? even if he WAS saying stuff against linux, which i doubt is true, it still states a very valid and basic point...and i believe it ties into the article well the way he said it. He switched from Linux (better) to Windows(cost more, bulkier) because his dealer(software vendors, admins, etc) was a schmuck. now can we please let this car shit die?
