Do you think it is likely that I can validly point out that you're wrong and I'm right? Personally I don't think so. Now, there is not just one expert but there are thousands of experts in all fields relating to climate change. And your opinion differs from their's. Do I think it is likely that you are right and they are wrong? It is exactly like creationists. They believe that scientists are off by a factor of about 2 million when it comes to the age of the universe. And they know that for sure (despite any evidence).
I think it is a moral imperative to be honest, and accept reality even if you don't like it.
Ok, here is what one can do in case of a problem: Find solutions. Here is one: You burn the surface of the cedar yourself (it looks great) and an ember falling will not likely cause a fire because the surface is already oxidized. Google Shou sugi ban for the posh version of this.

It is double use of land. Ever been in China? I haven't but a friend of mine has been several times. One time he took a long (some four hours) train trip from one major city (million plus inhabitants) to another. On the map you could clearly see the city boundaries. From the train, you couldn't. There were buildings/houses everywhere.

No, the current subsidies help to get relatively rich people to buy electric cars, making their sale profitable to the electric car manufacturers whole now can go through the cycle of improving performance and reducing production cost (as is usual with any new product). In a few years, the rich people will sell their car and affordable second hand electric cars are available then for less affluent people. We are currently in the stage where future second hand cars are bought to be available in a few years. In effect, the relatively rich people are now subsidizing the future second hand market for electrical cars.
If you filter CO2 from regular combustion gas, it is highly diluted by the nitrogen being present. So, the flow rate is higher (or you need a bigger bed). I think the new way of operating is rather smart. You don't care too much how much oxygen happens to slip through the particles in the other stream. A further advantage is that this process can run without nitrogen oxides forming. Which is quite nice too.
A possible advantage may be that higher combustion temperatures might be achievable (depends on how much energy is required to extract the oxygen from the particles.

Aren't Americans more susceptible to fake news for cultural reasons? Firstly, entitlement. Everybody is entitled without any reasonable responsibility to back the opinion up by facts and arguments. Secondly, the for a developed country high percentage of religious folks who somehow are not only OK to ignore or even deny facts like evolution but even want it to be taught in science class. Critical thinking is not promoted or particularly valued.
Very very impressive. But of course, now we know you can do this, landing some more expensive stuff than a tablet on Mars without breaking it should be on your To Do list...
