It seems the Beflanneled One is intent on ensuring complete media saturation in perpetuity for the SW universe.
All things considered, this show could be pretty cool, but it likely won't be. The prequels have fallen short and I find it difficult to imagine fresh material coming out often enough for a TV show. A mini-series would be perhaps more appropriate.
I gotta say, everytime I see another part of Star Wars being sold out, a little part of me dies.
Lucas et al could use some serious lampooning. It certainly seems that they disregard every fansite out there. Maybe they need the likes of Brooks to get themselves squared off.
I wish Brooks would write in a scene where a couple of the characters argue about whether Lone Star should have fired first or not. That would really tickle my funny bone.
I find it genuinely amusing that there is a disclaimer on the link you include that says the Earth Simulator is not to be confused with SimEarth. I wonder if there was a board meeting at Maxis to discuss the possible imapct of the release of the Earth Simulator...
As far as the machine being sexy: Its got red spots, that is usually a sign to leave it alone...
Is it just me or does it seem that every day brings a story of how Microsoft was unable to correctly predict the magnitude of an upgrade or alteration.
I'm thinking about how Longhorn is delayed and the scope is cutailed. SP2 had delay after delay. Now this cock-up with the upgrade of accounts because they did not think that users would use the space.
Is that three apps total?
1) Antivirus
2) Firewall
3) Instant Messanger
Do these three running preclude web browsing or *gasp* running some productivity related software?
The bottom line is: you're still gonna get what you paid for.
A Kia will get you back and forth to work. But a Caddy will do that and more...

Why Linspire? Why not use a bigger, (dare I say it) better distro. SuSe 9.1 is Europe's biggest distro, why not that? Is there some anger between Novell and Dell?
