Myself; I gave up. Couldn't stand playing it after a while. Now, over a year later I'm giving it another try.
There's few games that can change one's view of gaming as a medium, Pathologic is one of them. Spend a few hours in it, and it will be remembered. Few games leave such a lasting impression.
Pathologic, not fun; depressing

This russian gem deserves to be mentioned.
It's not fun. It's so depressing I could barely stand playing it for long stretches. 10-15 mins was enough, 30mins was horrible.
The unique concept results in a game that *is* a depressive nightmare. It's unique in a way; what other game makes you feel like killing yourself - just to end your own suffering? It's absolutely brilliant, and a hell to survive through.
Interesting article about it: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2008/04/10/butchering-pathologic-part-1-the-body/
I got a 100/100mbit connection too!
Too bad it is capped at 4/4mbit. Anyhow, if I paid more, I'd get 20/10mbit, or maybe even 50/25mbit.
Norweigian fibre is cool!
Not really a proper torrent, but, azureus will open this DHT url: dht://395CB97AFF235BABAAFFBE6BB2771353758C370B.dht /announce 4/4MBIT norweigian fibre based seeder.
Wow! Finally found a way to store fancy configuration files, yeah, text files in \etc in some wierd subdir, heh... And, linux guys wanna move away from/etc, talk about progress:-) Again an example of badly reinventing unix:-D
Why not be a litle more extreme when it comes to the speakers, see this:http://www.valutronic.se/vh1e.html
Heck, they can even be built 2 metres tall:-D
Hey, thats _SMALL_ I'm sitting here, waithing for my adsl contract to expire, so that I can get my Personal fibre turned on(4/4 symetric, althogh they provide 10/10 & 50/25mb too). Digging the ditch was a lot of work tho...
What should one look for in regards to controllers & setups in a new computer? Do one need a controller in the 200-500$ range to ensure uptime & reliability without sacrificing raw power? Is SCSI still the only viable option for high performance computers? In this test we will look at some of the options and the results that they give when it comes to storage.
Most motherboards aviablee today have somo sort of S-ATA controller builtin. This is true both for low-end desktops & expansive servers. One of the Most common controllers seen today is the Silicon Image 3114, which is a four port S-ATA controller with stated raid abilities.
In almost everyone of these cheap S-ATA controllers they advertize with RAID. This is actually only half the truth. These controllers can, like mostly every other controller, drive Raid arrays, but most of the RAID happens in software, in windwos this means driver-level RAID. Rumors say that one should look for RAID5 supporht to get hardware raid. If that is true is uncertain, since GNU/Linux does this in software.
( Is performance = size * Price? )
Big thanks to Nextron for borrowing the test rig, multiple controllers and other equipment for this test. Otherwise, thanks to MPX for borrowing the adaptec controllers.

panel types make a big difference. s-ips being the best you can get. cheap lcds use tn panels which are really horrible.
Munin is nifty, I use it for monitoring my home network, you can easily spot irregularities.
Intel already killed netburs.
You won't get bit perfect rips that way. You *NEED* something with offset correction and noncached mode for that.
Use a plextor drive with plextor tools, you can get it to play uncrippled. Single session mode rocks!
Truecrypt does what you want.

I wonder if they will use winelib?
Seews like a neat way to do it, and it will look like any other native app.

I had a decent SLA on my crappy 768/128 adsl. They even went as far as guarantee me half money back , if i didn't get decent latency.
My FTTH line, routed by my debian router, it has an ipv6 ip, and it gets its ip by dhcpcd, do my isp already support ipv6 then?
Works just fine, and almost as pretty with Cedega under linux
no need for js. firefox can do that with pure css

I found this with google, a linux pam module to login with a spoken password. May even be doable from a livecd. http://cscience.org/~lucasvr/projects/voiceauth.ph p

Nope, they aren't doing anything illegal, as they only "tell" people who got the illegal stuff, so they will continue

Not possible due to the demands by m$, one _CAN NOT_ sell computers without an os if one is at the same time selling m$ stuff.

To try it out search for superpi, let's flood this thing with CPU bench screenies :) :)
400%Growth in nodes known, went from 4 to 18, wonder how many there is i n a hour :)
Too bad one has to reboot az/ff to use the plugins tho
Hey, cedega support is likely, as cedega already supports some games uing the gamebryo engine, like pirates
