    I work for a company that pays very well.

    There's a very high turnover rate, and I believe the 50 - 100 (yes, 100) hour work weeks may have something to do with it.

    Well, you see, when you fix a bug, you, well, fix the bug. All the CSS hacks out there exploit unfixed bugs, so you see by fixing them, they ruin your hacks. That's why you don't hack. Use conditional comments.

    Yeah, I put it where it belongs (right above the body tag), but that doesn't help for event attachments on window load.

    I agree google analytics is helpful. However, it also increased my page load times by a long shot, so it had to be removed. It simply doesn't serve fast enough.

    So I took a look at my netvibes homepage and now I use who they use, statcounter.com... it's simpler than google analytics, loads a lot faster, and you can see the results in real time.

    I have a 1080p native resolution 37" Westinghouse LCD, and she looks mighty good.

    The windows virtual machine method is a pain. I wasn't aware that method was reliable, since the last time I read about it they were still having issues getting it to work properly.

    Perhaps you misunderstood.

    It's a pain to have multiple instances. Not impossible. I've been testing in IE7 for months, but thanks for your feeble attempt at being a smartass. Much love. :)

    It's a "bad news" if you want to test in IE6 *and* have a fully patched OS.

    It's a good news in that they've taken leaps and bounds as far as standards support. Still not as good as it should be, but at this point I'll take anything.

    And why would open registration make it fail? Just because you dislike the additions doesn't mean everyone else will. In fact, I would rather point out that you're in the minority in that thought. These guys are going to do whats best for the business, and opening registration means more money... plain and simple.
