  1. To Answer Your Questions.... on EBay Abandons Plans For PayPal Monopoly · · Score: 0
Have big corporations finally learned that they can go to far?

No. They are regrouping and working on purchasing corrupt officials as we speak. Their war against consumer-citizens continues on.

More chillingly, if eBay had launched the scheme in America would they have got away with it?

    GWB. Iraq. Healthcare..... Most assuredly.

Just in case I wind up on that billboard, I'd like to auction off advertising rights to the clothes I'd wear for my FBI photo. Also, if the death penalty is involved, I will use my final words to sell your company's goods and / or services for the right price.

  5. Someone Had to Shut it Down on FCC Declines To Probe Disclosure of Phone Records · · Score: 0

Someone had to shut down the investigation. Also full credit would have been given for a token investigation that found no wrongdoing, had vague and inconclusive results, and requested more funding for The War Against Terror. What ain't gonna happen, under any circumstances / regime / administration, is The Right Thing (TM).

I find nothing wrong with pirating from evil corporations. Or even stealing from them. I suspect the (US) law disagrees. Especially when it comes to defending the rights of evil corporations.

  8. A Cow Humping Metaphor on How-Not-to-Hire-U.S.-Workers Law Firm Fires Back · · Score: 0, Troll

From the good folks at Whitehouse.org. http://www.whitehouse.org/news/2006/052806.asp.

THE PRESIDENT: Farsi. Hell, Kenny Boy, I don't know what to tell you. Let me tell you a story, and as a fellow Texan, I think you'll appreciate it. Once upon a time, somewhere in west Texas there are these three cowpokes. Every night, around the fire, they all quietly amble off one by one into the darkness and fuck a heifer. It's dark, and no one sees anything, and all you can hear is, you know, the desert. But then one day, two of the cowpokes see the third with his pants around his ankles, getting balls-deep in that heifer in broad daylight. Now, these three were best of friends, but the two not fucking the heifer still shot the third dead. Because it's a disgusting thing to do, fuck a cow. Got it?

  9. Re:Error... on US Opposes G8 Climate Proposals · · Score: 1

Just because we have dog and pony show elections does not mean we're a democracy. We have two major parties that represent multinational corporations and have teamed up and excluded all third parties from any meaningful participation. That is a corporate-tocricy or nascent fascism.

I agree. Please, pretty please, get your governments to stop collaborating with us. Do not buy our debt. Move the UN to Geneva and give it the testicular fortitude to condemn US terrorism. Do not trade with us. Do not allow our citizens into your country. Break off diplomatic relations. Like WWII this will most likely have to be stopped from external influences as the sheeple are too far gone here.

Your good mentoring experiences were probably before quaterly layoffs became all the rage. Many layoffs I've seen were done by each department losing a certain percentage of its folks. If someone mentors someone who becomes better than they are, the mentor now finds themselves unemployed in a crappy job market. In the good old days they'd find a place for the mentor and there was a reasonable amount of security. There are consequences to mentoring that weren't there years ago.
