To Sandra Helm: If you don't like the heat, stay out of the kitchen. If you don't like an 85mph highway, then don't drive on it. But don't try and make the decision for others.
Depends on the game. with WOW, you might as well regard it as a client/server - if the server isn't there, it just won't work. DRM for it is irrelevant. Diablo, that's another matter. No reason it should not work without it. Then again, I got bored with D3 after running the different types of character thru the different levels. Does *anyone* just keep playing it? SC is another D3 model.
I find myself wondering how the Finnish bureaucracy thinks it has jurisdiction for Kickstarter.

Be a US resident and at least 18 years of age with a social security number (or EIN), a US bank account, US address, US state-issued ID (driver’s license), and major US credit or debit card.
Yes, non-US people can get involved, but they need a US resident to run it for them. And that's the point, it's run under US laws, not Finnish.
"Something I'll always own" - well there's my problem. Not a computer, phone, car, watch, do houses have serial numbers?
I prefer a sentence that's a quote or something, with a number after, that way I can have different numbers for different site passwords, but the same phrase.
It's optimistic of me, but did you read the original? DNT is an opt-in, and if companies like Microsoft set it to be an opt-out, then the likelihood is advertisers will ignore it. IMO a lot will, anyway, but this doesn't help.
Really? How many iTune purchases before the Apple markup exceeds the profit margin on your average iPod/iWhatever? And Apple make money on selling songs thru the iStore for iTunes running on non-Apple gear. I'm thinking the iPod was the hook for the content, not vice versa.
On the other hand maybe we'll see more cars imported from Europe. They used to have a car that scored 80mpg on the highway. They still have versions that get 65mpg.
Not really, the rest of us use litres per 100km, and a lower figure is better. Four cylinder cars seem to get around 4 urban running. (without considering hybrid/electric) I don't seem to get below 30 or so l / 100k with my driving.
Reasonable, but the vaccine makers could use a base that these people are not allergic to. *THAT* is something I'd be happy to see tax dollars go toward subsidising.
I would require Blizzard set aside the funds so that if/when the sanctions get lifted they can either process the refunds or reinstate the accounts. Otherwise how much money has Blizzard "gained" by doing this??
How much do they 'gain' when they permanently ban players for breaching TOS? And this is a subset of that.
I'm curious if this works against latency lowering services that use tunneling.

Yet another case of bureaucracy gone wild...

I don't give a crap about ads, if the people pushing the ads to my device will pay for the bandwidth of pushing it (not everyone has unlimited)

With luck, Samsung are doing some shit to Apple in the supply of parts to Apple. 7 day credit, maybe?
Via Sweden.
Mr Gorsky did.
I would claim that any use of that speech could be judged fair use.
If you cant say anything nice to say, don't say it, perhaps?

In a way, regular classtime could be regarded as a meeting.
So teachers ought to be lacing the 'right' student's desks with rhinovirus? (that's a joke, put down that tissue *now*!)
If I had points, I'd be tossing up between Informative, and Obvious (if it were called obvious)
Or you could look at the hour makeup of the school day, before looking at increasing days in the year.
I'll choose inept over actively evil every time, thanks.
So which one is that?

You think HPV is only caught by girls? I won't start to address the tinfoil mentality of the rest of your post.
Then again if you believe that, you believe he gave us penicillin, so it was not a sin after all.

WOW-player and computer-savvy can be two different things.
FTFY
Barrack plays Topper McNabb (an NPC beggar in Stormwind)
Topper McNabb says: I will gladly pay you on Tuesday for a hamburger today.
Says it all.
It's wrong of me, but I always get the flashback to the Monty Python 'stoning' episode.
Rubbish. The Draenai are *clearly* Islamic.
