For 99c, I expect most eBooks to be unedited and badly written. Occasionally, one hits you and you wonder what the author is doing selling it for 99c. Amazon could make a killing doing a 'pulp' style book for around 5-8 dollars, with a number of books in it, and an editor that's read and fixed the more glaring errors. Or maybe they could alter the Kindle app to allow readers to highlight and upload fixes to errors to the authors.
What does Kies have to do with jelly bean updates? It's a POS that doesn't deserve support. Along with all the rest of the carrier apps. They are akin to the crud you get buying a computer with Windows from Dell, etc.
IANAL, but the media that they run on probably matters. This isn't print media, or FTA tv, or radio, or any of the broadcast stuff. It's individuals choosing to do a get from a website.
So when Apple sell a WD (for instance) HD it has a greater perceived quality than when WD sell the same drive? About the only difference is that when you buy it in an Apple (or other OEM) computer, you can't use WD's (longer) warranty.
You get to read a chapter before you buy, (unsure what happens with CD/DVD) - that's better than a bookstore. Unless they set up internationally (Australia) I still won't be paying sales tax. And it's under the online GST minimum.
Amazon wouldn't be caring about paying sales tax, it'd get passed on to customer.
I said cheesy animation, and you extend that to all animation, and TV, which isn't animation. (ok, it includes animation, but there is a lot of content on it that isn't)
Or did it fail because the water mains and sewer treatment lost their power as well? THey probably have backup, but that wouldn't take them through long power outages.
Yes, but if you progressively undergrounded utilities, you would have less and less wire down repairs to do in the future. It's not that overhead wiring is necessarily dilapidated, more that it is prone to this kind of accident.
Apple would sue Microsoft for slander if they claimed to be copying them with their latest. (Windows8)
Sadly, Microsoft look like getting more license fees from Android tablet/phone makers than they will get from WindowsRT, establishing themselves firmly as patent trolls. Sad, because by profession I write code for Windows, and seeing it head in this direction isn't healthy.
How does that scam work if you aren't nice enough to WU the 25k back?
Because you wanted a headline/title like this one? /cynical
You don't need it for pron. (or so people tell me )

And how did that go? Or is it in the courts?
Except you're only electing slightly left and right, and not extreme.

You cant hesitate to think too much to get first post.
+1 this :)

What will an SSD do after 25 years? Magnetic media, we know, EPROMs, likewise.
I felt a great disturbance in the net, as if millions of pages suddenly downloaded.
Not all, but I'd have to say most.
Citation on how you came up with 'approximately one trillion' - I somewhat agree, but I'm intrigued with the figure.

Don't know, I don't know such stuff. I just do eyes ...

I'm still disappointed that we treat one of our citizens this way. (Australia, that is)
I don't think Ecuador is too much fun when your money runs out.
But the coffee is good
Flashing text. midi sound. Oh wait, that sucks too. If you can't get the message across without cheesy animation, then the message isn't worth it.
Insightful? We need a metamod score of 'ironical'
