    Because we're all lazy, to some point. We want something that's good enough to deter low-level attacks, so we trust certificates. We trust the little digipass tokens. (whilst wishing that they'd get their act together enough that one digipass could be used for many institutions)

    Stopping to smell the roses along the way isn't something you want to do for alts. And if you do gathering instead of crafting professions, you'll be lvling them at the same rate. Except for fucking fishing. And one fisher is enough. And one achievement whore is enough.

    6 days of playtime to reach lvl 66. On an alt, which means I'm not spending all my game-time on it, and I started it a couple weeks ago. A few months is way too high.

    I pose a question then: A) What would a private citizen have to do to be considered a Library in the eyes for Fair Use? B) What would then prevent them from Lending digital copies online?

    A - they buy a copy of the book/whatever.
    B - they only lend as many copies at a time as they have bought. This breaks the existing crap licenses they have on ebooks, but I don't consider them to be worth the silicon their bits are stored on.
