    Which I likely wouldn't do, myself, I'd keep the license and run it in a VM. I was suggesting it as a fix that'd keep the regulators quiet, I suppose.

  6. Not so much the rock itself, there's many similar rocks with similar minerals. It's all about the mining infrastructure you build there. Or about portable infrastructure that does the mining, for convenience lets call it a spaceship. Now if I was building such an object, it'd have a lot in the way of defence systems on it, to ensure that the blood shed would be someone else's...

    Iäm amazed at the concept of a wire-free laptop. Where do I get one? I need to replace my current wire-based laptop.

    Ship it with Windows for 'most people' then, and have a revocation at activation time that refunds the OEM OS cost. And stops Windows running after 15 days or whatever. More red tape, but it might keep both the 'most people' and the Linux / etc users happy. And the court system. Mac/iOS/Android appear to have solved the issue in their own way by making the OS free. (as in beer)

    More fun if you do Windows coding for a living, to do Atmel assembly coding for fun. Not coding against an unfriendly API (like Windows) really is fun. And if you happen to sell your for-fun code, it looks dissimilar enough to work code for your employer not to take an interest.

    Your last sentence is the answer, I think. "You don't know how to make healthy food that tastes and feels good" - well, it is harder and more time consuming to do it than to nuke another processed meal, but it is possible. Eventually you'll end up making healthy food you like more than the processed stuff.

    Also, exercise does not help much with weight loss because it stimulates the appetite, even though exercise in general is good for health...

    Not so much for me, I never feel less like eating than after gym sessions. Which is a problem because I typpically have plummeting BGL for the hours following. Grrr. More insulin tweaking.
