To which I have to give a BOOO. I still have a case of KR film in the freezer. I suppose I could just shoot it for the hell of it, but that's an expensive waste of film.
Actually, your ideas are really spot on... As to what to do with yesterdays news tomorrow? I get the paper (don't read it) because it's cheaper than tray liners for my bird cages. As a bonus, it's more eco friendly than plastic tray liners too, but honestly, it's a cost driven choice. And my kid likes the comics, she's 7 so they are actually good reading practice for her. -nB
Problem is, there is only 1 (or two, depending on if you count from 0) regenerations left to the Doctor. That is a plot device that will be hard to overcome without either violating canon or shenanigans like the Master used...
Ditto... For me as a kid the scariest episode was Tom Baker and the antimatter monsters in the stones (don't remember the episode name). Took me a while on that one. Recently (a couple years ago) re-watched it. Not so scary any more:)
On another note, my kids and wife love the new Doctor Who, but won't watch the old one because it's too campy.
Assuming you can believe what you read on-line I just learned something, thanks (and shows I don't know FORTRAN nearly as well as I likely should). Anyway, I always assumed (i)cnremental and j/k neatly followed in the alphabet.
hey, on the bright side if they try to change it and say it's always been that way, we can point at their logo (especially any that are engraved) and say: nuh-uh you changed it! -nB
Actually those Evil Bastards do produce sterile crop seeds. For those crops where they don't they might as well be, they sue you into oblivion if you save your seed for later.
Did you know those Evil Bastards own 95% of the soybean crop? That there is only 5% of the corp left that is not GMO? Just in case someone from that group of Evil Bastards is reading this: I plan on planting non GMO soy, just to keep the strain alive. I will send my heirloom seeds to anyone who wants them, free of charge. Sadly I only have a 10 sq foot area to plant, but I'm going to do it anyway, just to make a point.
I use a very low limit card for on-line purchases, and for travel. Active limit is < $800, nominal limit is $10,000 if I go on-line to my bank's website and increase it. I've had to re-issue that card number only twice, once for a lost wallet, once for on-line fraud. -nB
I tried that here in California (Libertarian)... Seeing their power base eroded the TwoParties pulled the wool over the voters eyes and got a ballot measure passed to consolidate their power. Now the top two vote getters in the primaries will be the only two that can be voted for in the election, thus you will no longer be able to vote for a third party.
It can be a HW thing, but most often it's a switch that signals the driver that the device does not want to be written to. In the case of a HW disable, the switch interrupts the WE# signal, keeping it pulled high to prevent writes. -nB
Yes, and the one brand we have in my lab that have this feature place the switch in such a position that when you plug it into a computer your thumb tends to slide the switch forward making it read only. While that is a better failure mode than failing to R/W I think placing the switch elsewhere would be even better...
GP does have a valid point though. I've seen it where I work, our device FW has exploded in size in the last three years, and the windows drivers now require.net 3.5.
Is it just me or is making device drivers in.net an absurd idea?
I'm in the validation side of the house, not design, so I have almost no say in this (who am I kidding, I have less than no say), but at least we're still building linux drivers.
We do that for almost anyone traveling there, not just execs. Execs get new laptops of the same model they normally use. Plebs get still functional, but previously waterfalled equipment that can be tossed out when it comes back.
Funny. We had a garbage pickup on my street where you can leave out old appliances to be picked up, trash, etc.
I put out an old washing machine and a microwave that would turn on if you opened the door (talk about safety interlock failure!). I also put out two moldy bales of alfalfa that reeked to high heaven and had maggots on them.
Following morning as I went to work I expected the appliances to be gone. They were still there, but the moldy alfalfa was gone... WTF? -nB

I'd bank that a 90% drop in readers < 90% drop in ad revenue, likely 50% drop in revenue.

I liked Troughton and Baker.
Incedentally Patrick's grandson played in Robin Hood as Sam, and was actually quite good. Shame that series already died.

yes, because being lofted 300 feet into the air is usually the end of that particular cover's life.
block, no. Attenuate, which is better than nothing? yes.
since this is government, that is believable.

strictly speaking an MD5 holds 128 bits. The minimum/maximum length message is the MD5sum its self.
But yeah....

Low level component drivers for PCs.
Can't really say more...
Thanks.
I only had a little tiny shred of hope for my country left. Now that too is gone to oblivion.

really?
All that I've seen were.
proprietary PSU connections
proprietary ATX back panel
etc.
Funny.
