    This is, I think, the entire issue at hand. Children and young teens should not have video games/TV/Movies as their primary source of socially acceptable behavior. It's the parents responsibility to ensure these children know the difference of right from wrong.

    Or do you see another search engine providing as much internal Data as google does? I have yet to see another site like http://www.google.com/governmentrequests/ Sure it's not super detailed but it's a hell of lot better than anything else out there.

    I have wanted something like this since I first heard about it. The pocket vault http://www.chameleonnetwork.com/index.html is a brilliant idea for a biometric portable storage unit (don't I sound intelligent), Wish they would finally release it so I could check it out.

    The problem is currently there are no controls on TCG. This document would attempt to make it opt-in.

    That is why he believes that MS is trying to stall so that these rules don't apply to Vista.

    Reading half the posts on here, I think that it is for the best that the people who use this site don't have control.

    I do agree with you I know there are many people who submit valid and interesting stories and they just get lost in the shuffle, I am sure some of it just happens because there are so many stories being submitted per day (I have no idea how many but I am guess it is a lot).

    I have an idea for system that could kind of work,
    but it's just an idea.

    Thanks for the intelligent response, it was more than I figured I would get from a post like that.

    But for the most part the stories say SoandSo says....

    I don't know how much email you receive in your very large organization, but when you attempt to filter over a billion(conservative estimate) emails a day it can cause major delays.

    Spam doesn't cost just Elec., Bandwidth and time.
    I am a sysadmin for a world wide company and having to filter out spam can drastically slow down the flow of email.

    This is costing my company countless man hours of productivity lost.

    Lost Productivity = $$$$$
    Lost $$$$ = smaller bonus poool

    eSpam costs me way more than Snail mail.

    How do you deal with spam checking software causing a delay at the point where you do the spam filtering? As communication backup becomes more important in the business place you have some companys dealing with literally millions if not billions of emails a day. Even an efficent filter will take to go through that many emails, How do you deal with this?

    I wonder what the criteria is then. I have probably given out at least 15-20 invites since I got gmail.

    I gave an invite out to a friend the other day it went to 49 and was back up to 50 the next morning.

    How sensitive are these sensors going to be? I am assuming they will only been in low traffic areas (because putting a motion sensor in a high traffic area is a little silly) which doesn't really seem to be MO of any attacks that I know of. Also in those areas could they not be set off by some of those larger than normal NYC Rats?

    It may not be 100% public, but as far as I can see everybody has 50 invites, and it resets everyday.

    You don't already have cell phone spams? I am on call and as such my work Cell is published, ever since I have been getting 3-15 spam text messages a day. If there is a new medium possible for advertising it will be used to it's full extent. I sincerly doubt this will ever catch on full scale in North America, as the UK tends to use bluetooth a little more than the rest of the world. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/3673093.stm

    Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIP or RIPA) is a United Kingdom law covering the interception

    As Canada hasn't been part of the UK for a few years I don't think we quite have to worry about this yet. Though I will not deny that I am very apprehensive of this bill, from here on in I will be encrypting any personal emails that I don't want read as snooping on the average citizen seems to be the norm now a days.

    If there is a big bold sign stating that camera's are in use is it spying?
    And personally I don't see anything wrong with it. I do admit they should have to make sure you are aware of the camera's and there should be steps in place to make sure there is no abuse.
    but is there any real reason why you should expect privacy in someone else's store trying on clothes that you don't own yet.
    especially if there are large amounts of theft happening
