Not sure what you meant by do yourself a favor and buy the nes but that gave me an idea.

why doesnt nintendo rerelease the NES price it $50 or less and watch the things fly off the shelves. esp. around christmas. Surely they could be made cheap very easily with todays technology and components. Make it look just like the original but remove the blinkies problem

PSP is gona have some serious high quality features (divx mp3 etc.) if they want to pull this off. But if the PSP costs more you can hang it up.

I agree perfect dark rocked but you could tell it was straining the limits of the 64.

I even found a way to make the framerate slowdown with goldeneye. In the second level with the lab once you get to the room with all of the gas canisters at the end talk to trevelyn for a second then when the baddies start coming in run to the exit door.

But instead of exiting run up the stairs and go through the door closing it behind you as you get to the top turn so you can see whats going on with trvelyn and just start shooting the baddies they wont come through the door or shoot back. as more and more of them make it to the ledge you'll see a massive slowdown in the system performance.

I agree if the band can get their music heard they can make a decent living from concert tickets and cd sales at concerts, heck if the band knows how to work a program like Adobe audition >$200, have an audio card >$100 that will connect to their mixer, they can make an album that sounds pretty darn good.

So for less than $300 they can have a studio good enough to make an album to get them on tour.

If they dont know how to record and edit audio got to the local college/university and find a mass media major looking to make some extra money.
