  1. Women = Evil on Greatest Equations Ever · · Score: 4, Funny

    Here's my favorite:

    First we state that women require time and money:
    Women = Time x Money

    And as we all know "time is money"
    Time = Money

    Therefore by substituting Money for Time we get:
    Women = Money x Money
    Women = (Money)^2

    And because "money is the root of all evil" we therefore can state:
    Money = (Evil)^1/2
    And Since
    (Money)^2 = Women
    Then (Money)^2 = Evil

    And we are forced to conclude by substituting "women" for "(money)^2" from above that:
    Women = Evil

    Can't argue with mathematical proof!

    You're right though - Balmer is a drooling moron. If hardware were cheaper, poorer people could afford to pirate software along with the rest of the world.

    This is EXACTLY what I came into this article to post. While I fully support open software (in both theory and practice) I sometimes feel that because there are a few too many options in certain areas, we lack either usability with other options or we lack other options at all in a given field.

    Here we have some developers that are looking to work on an open video codec, and then there's ogg's open video codec that IMHO just needs a few more developers to get the ball rolling quick enough to have people really take notice (I still have yet to see a vid file encoded with the ogg vid codec...). I think FOSS needs a little soliderity in terms of software support from developers.

    Actually I've played all the way through Halo; which is why I think it is a HUGE Doom rip-off. Don't try your "you're a troll who's just a ranting fanboy" shit on me. I've also finished Half-Life, about which I feel exactly the same.

    The story in Doom is that a corporation screwed around too much and opened a gateway to the horrors you have to destroy. (Half-Life, an exact rip-off of such). Halo is close enough, and you can whine that it has a story that matters compared to Doom, but all I remember of Halo is running through dark corridor after dark corridor killing the same guys over and over again until I finished it.

    As for someone who thought I said Doom was the first FPS, come on. Re-read my original post. I'm not a deluded troll here, I'm a seasoned gamer who happened to speak my mind on the internet like the rest of you.
